There is much you can say about Dark Souls, but the most common thing that you have probably heard about is its difficulty as it's very well known for it. However Dark Souls' difficulty is not the only appeal it has. The story is extremely well crafted, but doesn't shove it down your throat if you're not huge into stories or lore, instead you have the option to delve deep into it. Every character is memorable in some way, and some characters are made so well that you actually feel bad about killing them in their boss fight. Secondly, the combat is absolutely terrific Dark Souls offers many different options for any playstyle you could want, whether you prefer fast, slow and powerful, ranged, or even prefer to use spells to gain the edge on your opponent you will have many options to keep you busy. Visually the port is not the best as it was made for 7th generation consoles and there was not any improvements made to the pc version, but thanks to modding specifically using DSFix you can improve the visuals and framerate. Dark Souls is sure to give you many hours of enjoyment, perfecting your strategies and planning how you will build a character and with the intense difficulty it's fair to say this game has given me the most rewarding experience from any game I have played. If you have not already played Dark Souls or have given up I highly reccomend revisting or trying the game, because you will surely not regret it.
