Many times, you pay for a game that wasn't really worth the monetary value you've invested in it. In this case instead, this purely cosmetic DLC is not even enough to get on par for the worthiness of the base game. In other words, support the creator of The Last Sovereign through this, after you think you've enjoued at least the price of this DLC out of the free game. I spent so many hours on this absolute gem before the Steam release that my counter doesn't really give it justice.

I don't know if i can say something different from the other rewiewers that did not recommend this game, but i'll try anyway.

The game by itself it's kinda cool. More Rufus and Goal, time travel shenanigans, and a tiny, minuscule spark of hope. That something, anything would be different. And the game gets promoted this way... Without any heavy spoilers, let's just say that Deponia Doomsday plays with this hope, sometimes alimenting it, sometimes taking the oxygen away until it's almost dead, until the finale.

The main problem with this game is how it's related to the original trilogy. Assuming you played it, you either dislike it because it was anticlimatic to the extreme, or you liked it because... well, i can't really know, since i felt like the majority of the players. This game, DD, 'suffers' from a similar issue, because it's sold as a sequel when it's more like all the things that close the circle. Yes, expect to get your mind boggled thanks to the time travel, and to search the forums for discussions about the loopholes/things you don't understand. Prepare for loops after loops in some other loop, prepare for even crazier things, an prepare to feel like you wasted the time spent playing this game.

Because it's the travel that it's cool, who cares about the destination or the meaning of the travel, right?
