Besides, anime is inherently evil, it's designed to implant into children by looking appealing to them in all sorts of ways, either by edginess, warm and bright styles, or the most effective being sexually pleasing to teens. Once it's in, it will sit there, slowly making its host want to watch more anime. Eventually it will become an addiction, and the teen will refuse to talk to people outside of the anime community and will only talk about anime related things. Anime will also make teens stop all physical exercise, and increase appetite in junk food such as chips and so on, usually eating while watching anime. Other than physical health issues that will occur, there will be mental health issues as well that can be caused from this virus.

Some side effects of anime addiction are feelings of loneliness, feeling hopeless, laziness and increased tiredness in the form of insomnia, and biggest of all being depression. After observing patients who have unhealthy addictions to watching anime, the patient can be observed feeling more emotionally attached to the story than any other form of entertainment that has a story. Some patients have even developed what appear to be made up relationships, and depending on the patient will either brag about it to his friends, or keep it a secret, showing signs of guilt for what they have become.

Patients can be observed visibly crying when a character dies in an anime, even if they are aware it's not a real person. The worst case scenario is when a character hey have developed a strong bond to dies in the show, as patients can be observed feeling an extreme amount of pain and sadness.
