Pretty consistent experience,
Can be gpu and other resource intensive if you turn settings up to max. I've experienced PSU (850W) failures when pushing it.
Tutorial is pretty good at introducing players to the main system of combat.
Additional things demand a bit of self motivated investment and research.
Most glaring issue I've experienced for gameplay is that some achievements (named penances in game) have really poorly described criteria. For example "On Overwatch" an achievement tied to the veteran class is defined as "Complete a mission on malice difficulty or above without taking melee damage." It doesn't say specifically that the criteria it's actually looking for is health damage dealt by melee. Your shield (toughness) can be damaged by melee and it'd still be valid.

Specific tailored achievements for maps and bonuses can be hit or miss with matchmaking not allowing you to queue for map/mission but what's on rotation on mission hub. And general achievement hunting tends to be hampered because private parties are set to a minimum of two players in a party. I am told there are mods to bypass this but I don't want to add third party fixes to settings that really don't make sense at all.

The only other complaint is that the common playstyle of the community, seems to be focused only on quickly completing the objective and not gathering materials.

Gameplay Loop? Great! Can have fun and each run is it's own unique adventure with the random seeds in each operation and the missions within them. Adding onto modifiers that "increase" difficulty as you reach higher tiers of missions for better payout.
As great of the loop and variance there is, it's a really good idea to not straight grind this game and go on long sessions of getting everything you can the fastest way. Burnout can settle in really fast when you feel like you're being stomped in and shoved into a wall and beyond. Limiting myself to playing one operation (roughly 2 hours worth of runs) keeps the game fresh even after multiple months after release.
Some system jank is rare but often potent, sometimes burning resource(s) that you wanted or worked to get already.
New equipment and enemy units are also expected so that will maintain the steady supply of players looking to keep the live service war effort going.
And of course, spread managed democracy, one bullet at a time!

Is it worth full price of $30? Not as of posting this review.

Is it fun? It has about 40-50 hours worth of content, progressing through about 3 tiers of items/equipment. The combat can be improved, but not breathtaking.

Do I regret buying this?
not really, it's an interesting survival/best with friends kinda game, Pick it up when it's on sale.

I get to shoot people and they get to have fun, BEST GAME EVER

I didn't get paid my 15 cheeseburgers, but they gave me this game. It bang for your buck if on sale.

It emulates Crack too much,

Used to be a great game with a Decent community.
High emphasis on Decent.
Over time Rockstar have put forth controversial and other great updates and additions.
But the game is rampant with modders, cheaters, scripters or whatever else you want to call it.
The Online section is filled with people that do not welcome a new player.
I write this review on a day where I've encountered modders that force crash my game at least 10 times the day.
To join the online secion I have to sit through a 5+ minute loading screen.
If you are there for a good story and single player sandbox, I recommend it.
But never touch the Online anymore. People have found ways to screw with you in your own single player game if you're connected to internet/rockstar servers. So be warned

In short, the best way to fix this game. is probably get a kernal level anti cheat. I hate to say it. but this feels like its the only way. Or Rockstar patching out the crash exploit that the modders use.
