The first game was one of my favourites from my childhood and I still enjoy playing it, the second game was a good Africa expansion. This however doesn't feel like a Panzers game, it feels like a choppy mess with better graphics that didn't know what it wanted to be.

Quite frankly, I have only used this software to shift/move up and down in VRChat.

I know that this is technically a "map painting" simulator, but I love it.

And yes, I play as Germany 99% of the time.

I feel like even if I had had access to a computer back when I was a kid, I stil wouldn't find this game entertaining and I would've just played it to pass the time.

It's a nice puzzle solving platformer with dark elements and symbolism.

It's a fairly simple, old, goofy game, but it can be really fun for a few hours if you find some people to play with. Unironically it's better than many of the modern releases and unlike online only games like Payday 3 which will be inaccessible in a few years, you can basically play this game forever as long as you have someone to play with.

It's okay.

Mafia 2 is a good, short game with a decent story, but this "remaster" provides so little value, yet adds so much frustration.
The graphics are nowhere near where they should be in a game released in 2020. The original Mafia 2 came out in 2010 and all this version does, it makes it look like a 2012 game with the expense of taking over 4 times the disk space.
Beyond that, it is incredibly unoptimized where sometimes I'm struggling with my RX 7800 XT GPU when there is fire on the screen.
But what makes me hate this game to the point where my blood is boiling, are the game breaking bugs they left in the game. You cannot free roam or even enjoy the game safely because maybe I was able to play 3-4 chapters without having to replay them from the start due to game breaking bugs.
Even when I'm extremely cautious, following the rules, doing objectives only, this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ would find a way to softlock me from progressing, for example if you rob any stores in chapter 14 despite the fact that is one of your objectives to get money.

Please do not play this game!

This is not a joke review. I have invested a significant amount of time AND money into this "game" since I started playing it in 2023 and my life has been nothing but a downward spiral since I became addicted to this mess.

I'm not talking about the financial investments, I made to have full body tracking, index controllers and even a haptic suit, although I do have some regrets about the latter.

I'm talking about the emotional distress this platform has given me. It's obvious that the game is full of awful people of every sub-genres, but this platform brings out the worse out of people who lie, gaslight and play with your feelings without any consequences.

Forget about making friends in this game, let alone find a partner and build a connection. It's all fake and most people on this platform are not right in the head or (and) straight up evil.

So, please don't be a sucker like I am and save yourself! Build REAL connections in REAL life, not fake ones in this virtual hellhole.

I know I might be biased because I got the game 90% off, but I dare to say that this game is more enjoyable than Payday 3, even if just for a little while. But the shame to it all is that because RAID has a server browser, I was quite able to find company, while in the other game, I am a lone wolf even if I don't want to be one.
