I haven't been able to play online since they added it, I'll update my review when they fix it.

I'm gonna be brutally honest here, the game was kinda interesting the first time around, but subsequent playthoughs aren't interesting enough to actually keep going.

There's alot of hype around this game right now, so most would say "Yes! Buy it! It's great!" and don't get me wrong, the game is cool, but not 10 dollars cool. There's not enough here to honestly recommend this game at full price, it's an experience, I'll definitely give it that, but as a game, it doesn't do enough to stand out to me, I've been through 1 1/2 runs so far, and it's just lost my interest.

The game WANTS you to get the best ending, and punishes you for getting the worst, leaving blind players who want the 'genocide ending' without a way to continue.

I admit that it had it's moments the first time around, but the game's rather ravenous fanbase and it's lack of replayablity leave a fair bit to be desired.

I can't recommend this game in it's current state.

It seems to really -want- to be a souls game, or to be a spiritual successor, but the design choices (Having all of the stats shown mean next to nothing when there is nothing to compare it against, few stat descriptions, and spells being difficult to actually use in any effective way, let's say you use a AOE healling spell that's supposed to heal you over time, and it decides to do nothing this time.)

It's still got bugs, optimization is nigh non-existant, Weird mechanics that just feel out of place(The gauntlet), and I can't bring myself to actually play this game.

I bought this game last year, during the steam holiday sale, and it's gotten about 6 updates since, not including the "DLC" that this game packs. I wanted to start fresh, and give this game a real chance, but it doesn't hold up.

Go buy Darksouls 2: Scholar of the first sin, it's the same price and a better game to boot, or buy Darksouls: prepare to die edition, it's $19.99.

I was asked to manipulate code to win, and when I did, the game crashed on me.

I crashed the game within 5 minutes of starting.

It takes 4 hours to 100% this game.

I forced the game to lock up when I fought the first boss twice.

I cried when I found that there was next to no mod support.

This game is $13.37.

No Double-Fine, that isn't hip with the kids.

Stop and go back to your room and make a good game, or no supper.
