Hello Hockey fans.

TLDR: Spiritually, this is the closest you will ever feel to actually playing real Hockey. It's worth the frustration of improving over time if you enjoy the sport and its mechanics.

Way back I tried playing Slapshot 1, The controls where tough, some people will still try and tell you that Mouse and Keyboard is the way to go, they might be right, I would say instead, it is up to the player. For me it was the controller. I could still imagine modifications to make it feel more one to one.

Controls are extremely important when you are playing a sport you grew up playing, The change in Slapshot: Rebound updated the poor integration or feel it had before. Now I can translate these old man fingers into making my character play like I used to!

For a game you can play for free, I couldn't recommend it more.

You might be tempted to blame your team, tempted to quit and leave when dumb goals go in. I challenge you to reframe it. I challenge you to keep playing, help other players get better as you do too. (See my GOOD SPORT video somewhere in this games community video's!)

I must say, when i was first showed this I thought that it looked like it was a meme of sorts, but after playing it for a good 8 hours in one day which is more then I can say for other huge titles. It's a great game especially with friends, sure it has its share of bugs but def worth keeping an eye on. With the free to play version available you can see what its all about. or take the plunge for the full version (help the dev pay the bills.)

Supraball is the successor to deathball and a superior product for coordinated team sports action. I'd recommend this for anyone who is willing to take steps to be a team player and enjoy the game for love of the art of a genre that needs more exploration.

It's inspired many and deserves its due.
