Incredibly mid. The parkour is not encouraged with how the map is layed out. Massive gaps between many buildings, and then 75% of the map is basically flat ground for you to run. It was so much faster to just run along the infested streets and dodge the lunges from infected instead of running from roof top to roof top. Lack of fast travel made a few parts of the main story very tedious. I will say the driving was decent and the race challenges were fun. Combat felt samey and lame, despite being this monstrosity of rage and power, you will always have to strike an infected 3-5 times regardless of your level, weapon level, and mods. Thankfully guns are introduced, but you are not encouraged to use them. The grappling hook is jank, the parkouring is SO slow. Kyle feels like a 4x4 crawling up a wall.

The only time kyle ever feels as strong as hes implied is when he goes into rage but then its just spam punching to win. Very shallow mechanic. Same lock picking as before. A complete lack of any challenges outside of racing is extremely lame. This could have been a 30$ DLC. I hope this game gets the same treatment as the last two with a steady stream of updates and added content because it really needs it. The bosses are either megajacked zombie who runs at you or withering grandma who screams for help. The story was good, I liked the twist on the beast.
