Kinda boring

Ugh, unfortunately the second part is worse than the previous one. You’ll ask why? I’ll tell you. Both have bugs, but the sequel outdoes its predecessor. You go to bed to save, quit the game, launch it again—and what happens? You have 0 energy and pass out right in front of the bed XD That’s just one example. The optimization is terrible. You set 60 FPS and tweak the rest of the settings, and after 30 minutes the game just forgets them and does whatever it wants. Even Cyberpunk used less CPU than this thing. A disaster. Really want to play? Go for the first part. The second one, unfortunately, isn’t very encouraging.

Generally, it was looking good… I played at the premiere, there was a huge crowd of people, and I couldn’t even log in on the release day, so I had to put it off until the next day. It was really one of the few MMORPGs/RPGs that I genuinely enjoyed playing. The rest is history. Well… it’s a shame.

You kind of knew it, but you still kept hoping. The developers really don’t seem able to learn from their mistakes. From one piece of junk, they jumped straight to another. What the hell is this? A game with cardboard-looking graphics running at 30 FPS in the capital, even though there aren’t even that many players around. A stable 60 FPS is the absolute minimum. If only the game at least had some cyberpunk-level graphics — but it doesn’t. I’d like to say something nice about this game because I have a lot of memories connected to it, but I just can’t. In short: another cash grab, because maybe someone will buy it, right? I mean the paid in-game packages — why waste time when you can get something instantly. Players deserve something better. It looks like the good old 4Story is never coming back. Only private servers might fill that void for you — but definitely not this thing. Third time’s the charm?

Welcome back Battlefield Heroes, we missed you!

To start with, I’ll point out that as a kid I never really got the chance to play the original/I never had the opportunity, but I decided to play the remastered version because I always wanted to play Mafia sooner or later anyway. What can I say — I had a great time. It felt like being in a movie for those almost 10 hours. The game even moved me in a few moments. I really liked the refreshed graphics. Why can’t every game look this good while having such low requirements? Turns out it’s possible, as you can see. I finished the story, spent a moment exploring, stole some cars, and that’s about it. I don’t really feel like doing the rest of the achievements, though that doesn’t rule out the possibility that I might come back in the future to go for 100%. Mentally, I’m getting ready for the second part.
