I've never written a review on Steam before... until I played NieR:Automata.

The game started out as a generic, hack-and-slash, stick-shooter, mowing down enemies in your path.

But then, everything changed.

When I finished my playthrough, I can quite honestly say that NieR:Automata is one of the greatest games I've ever had the pleasure of playing - it's brilliant on so many levels; from gameplay to story and everything in between.

I think about this game on a daily basis and ponder the questions it has raised for me personally.

There hasn't been a game that has left such a profound impression on me in such a long time, and I'm truely glad I got the opportunity to experience it.

10/10

P.S. Literally the best soundtrack of any game ever made.
