Well, it's just a copyright issue. I wouldnt want to buy every single license for a gun name so i understand their decission. And many games do so, for example csgo

I can pinpoint one 'mistake', if we say. The 'Buzzsaw 42', as correctly depicted in the 3-D model, clearly have the MG 42 marking on the left side. Guess the developers forgot to change that to its distinctive, silly names, like other MGs like the KSP 58. Haha.

It's very common in video games to re-name a weapon. Devs can usually take the model and tweak it a bit but the name of the original gun is copyright and you would have to buy a license to use that name

I don't care what name calling/smart talk you throw at me, everyone in PAYDAY 2 is different. If you attempt to lose my patience in game, you will be blacklisted and blocked in steam permanently.
