Wow... how do I start? The Walking Dead: Season 2 was one of the most emotional and gut-wrenching games that I have played in a while. The game has all the usual scenarios from the first; allies betraying you, zombie hordes or 'herds' overrunning locations, Kenny being a psycopath/ badass, and unavoidable deaths of main characters. If watching people being eaten alive or stabbed repetitively is your thing, then this game has plenty to satisfy you.

However, this game is not one of the usual hack, slash and shoot zombie games that you have come to expect. The crew at Telltale Games have really outdone themselves this time round, producing a story that is much darker and more refined than the original. Whilst Season 2 is indeed shorter than the first, the story is much more action-packed and entertaining. There is little of the long discussions and 'boring' character development that bogged down the first chapter in the trilogy. Lee also returns for a dream sequence, providing an emotional insight into Clementines mind, once again reminding us that despite all she's done, she's still only a kid at heart. And lastly, you are forced to make a difficult decision at the end of the game, one that I assume will have a major impact on the third season.

My Score: 90/100.

What many people may not kno is that Octodad: Dadliest Catch is actually the second entry in the Octodad series. It is a drastic improvement over the original entry; which was in fact created on little to no budget. Unike most sequels however, Dadliest catch still manages to maintain the heart and spirit of the original entry. Whether it's mowing the lawn, doing the shopping, escaping a chef who want to turn you into sushi, or taking your kids to the aqaurium; with Octodad around simple tasks turn into ridiculous obstacles. Whilst the game no doubt has its share of fun moments, some of the objectives do become rather repetitive and boring near the end of the game.

P.S.
There is also a hillarious co-op mode for the game. I won't spoil for those who haven't tried it yet, but I assure you it's a blast.

My Score: 70/100

The poor implementation of concepts has bugged this game ever since it was first called Orion: Dino Beatdown. What originally started out as a flawed game has now become a mish-mash of ideas, that is in my opinion unplayable. Whilst the ingame character, dinosaur, and vehicle models are terrible, graphics are not always everything. Well then, why is this game so poorly optimised that it lags on high-end computers? What's worse is that this game borrows concepts from other video games, and doesn't quite manage to properly implement them. The vehicle steering system is like Halo: CE, but 100 times worse, the second chance system is like Borderlands 2 but with no real challenge. Honestly, the best thing I did with this game was uninstalling it. I want my internet back, I want my wasted time back, but am I going to get them back? Answer: NO! Seriously, save your money and buy a game like Primal Carnage or Dino D-Day instead. Both are good examples of a humans vs dinosaur game done right.

My Score: 15/100.

Edit: Eh, it's a guilty pleasure now.

An interesting take on the often uninteresting and 'cliche' tower defence genre. While the tactical aspects of the game are fun and somewhat thought-provoking, the combat and map design is not. Some levels feel like a grind-fest, rather than being smooth and well paced.

My score: 80/100

Not as good as Morrowind, but still throroughly immersive & enjoyable. This elder scrolls game attempts to merge both the combat system of modern games with the old rpg elements we all love. While the game fails in the combat area, there is still a huge variety of quests and the altered levelling system is a huge improvement over the oblivion era skills system. The 3rd person camera has been slightly adjusted to the point where it is now bearable, & while Bethesda did not fix all the bugs; do not fear the community has released many patches to fix these issues. The most disappointing aspect of the game is the very apparent dumbing down for consoles. Morrowind; a predecessor was more advanced in this regard. Cities were part of the worldspace & nobody had to wait for those pointless loadscreens.

My Score: 85/100.
