This is one of those very, insanely, rare gems that you get with passionate developers that have a clear vision for what they are doing and aren't greedy.

IMO this game is an evolution of the l4d formula, of putting you in a mission with an objective while also making you defend against waves of enemies that, on higher difficulties atleast, are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BRUTAL.

The game is also immaculately balanced, nothing breaks the game, its only as good as the class your playing, imma try and explain: every class serves its own, very specific role, which is how every player can feel like they are having an effect on the mission even if they are playing with vastly better players they are only as good as the class's role.

you aren't going to find a scout that can clear swarms super fast while also being able to fly from one end of the map to the other, likewise you aren't going to find a super mobile gunner that can also clear swarms because the classes roles don't allow for them to leak over to one another's fields.

the level ups dont feel meaningful, the dungeons are all randomly generated to the point where they feel the same, the characters are plain as ♥♥♥♥.

From what little time i played this game seems really good.
tho i feel like there could be more music playing in the actual game itself, or just more bass-y sound effects and more of them

The answer to if you should get this game or not depends on how thirsty you are for a stealth game.

If you own the original thief games i would just recommend playing custom missions created by fans, personally i found that to be a much more fun experience then this game.

Then again, this game does go on very deep sales, so maybe it is worth your money then, now to get to the actual review

Dishonored literally did everything better, it came out 2 years before and did literally, everything, better.

Its just a shame to see the legendary Thief series be reduced to... whatever the ♥♥♥♥ this is supposed to be.

The level design makes absouletly, 0 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sense, navigating the streets of the open world felt like navigating memories of a medieval town but i have a brain tumour.

There are some standout missions, and maybe its worth your time for

EPILEPSY 100

The game itself is good, however, you cant buy it on steam, which pisses me off, not just because i have all my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ games on steam, but because the steam version has features that the epic games feature doesn't, LIKE ACTUAL CONTROLLER SUPPORT!
