TL:DR: BUY THE GAME IF YOU HAVE A PARTNER TO PLAY THIS, THIS ONE IS WELL WORTH FULL PRICE

God, this was such a breath of fresh air, a full coop game that actually had thought and passion put into it with some of the best designed levels i've seen this year (especially the last one but im not gonna spoil that one for you).

The game actually had thought put into the splitscreen coop, today thats about as rare as a non depressed teen

FOR EXAMPLE: If one player is doing some sort of jumping puzzle while the other is holding a button to make it possible then the screen of the player whos doing the puzzle expands to make it easier on them, because the devs understood you dont need half your screen to just to keep holding down a button.

I cant tell you if playing with friends pass is any good, as for me and my coop partner it didnt work, but remote play on steam worked perfectly.

The gameplay mainly consists of platforming and sloving puzzles, but it never gets stale, because just like half life 2 each chapter mixes up the gameplay in some new way. One level Cody has a bandolier of nails to nail down moving platforms and to make a path for his partner May to swing through with her claw hammer, another level he can stop time while May can clone herself to trigger 2 buttons simultaneously and in another one becomes a barbarian and the other a wizard and the game turns into a top down hack n slash.

And another thing, the voice actors ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ KILLED IT!

Overall just a really good, well designed game with a story that takes itself semi seriously with memorable moments sprinkled in.

Good game to play while waiting for your teacher to check the answers that you copied from the internet.

Adds extra challenge to my english classes.

Theres nothing quite like it, Its like rust if rust was a bit more friendly and had pirate ships instead of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ looking houses, tho theres quite a bit more PVE than rust and just like rust it can always be interrupted by other players waiting to steal your ♥♥♥♥, and thats what makes this game special,

Eh, its ok

Doesnt really stand out from other souls games apart from guns
The random generation and the game not really having level design to make it stick out doesnt help either
The shooting is fun, if you want a coop game this is also pretty good.

Good automation game (Quickest description of the game would be factorio meets satisfactory but with interplanetary travel) still needs some polish, havent played it as much as i would like to have

One feature i would love to see is the ability to stack assemblers. (And multiplayer)

The most basic description of this game i could give you is

Terraria
But with vikings
And early access

Terraria, cause you gather more powerful gear, and kill more powerful enemies and bosses to venture into more dangerous areas to kill more powerful enemies and bosses

Vikings, cause the game's setting is obviously based on Norse mythology, i mean you would have to be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ blind to miss Yggdrasil's branches in the sky and the ships obviously being those used by vikings.

And early access cause the game is still in development with a pretty substantial road map ahead.

And yknow, you can probably already tell this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome cause im drawing comparisons to terraria, but just in case you cant:

Good game, desperately needs a level editor tho.

Game is 12 years old but still holds up insanely well, if you like survival horror games pick this up.
Only thing i could consider a bit of a let down are the characters, but the gameplay makes up for that.

This aint your typical twin stick shooter, its quite a bit slower. Theres far more emphasis on moving from cover to cover but some enemies are designed to force you out of cover and they work surprisingly well paired with the ones meant to shoot you.

Overall, when it works its a good roguelike with a great aesthetic and soundtrack, im surprised that this is as under the radar as it is.

More grinding then a polish strip club.
