After reading some steam reviews, i noticed some people didn't like the controls, high difficulty, and annoying enemies. This game definitely takes strategy to beat. For bosses, a plan is definitely needed and for certain annoying enemies certain weapons should be used. Everything you do needs to be deliberate especially in the middle of the game. The beginning starts out easy. After searching the entire map I managed to get most upgrades without a guide. By the end I was definitely overpowered and beat the ending areas and boss with ease.

This game is hilarious. Best FMV game I've played so far.

Shadows of Rose is by far the best story DLC I've ever played. It has the creepy atmosphere like the main game but even more so. Not sure why some people don't like it. I thought it was cool!

I love all the resident evil games. My top two are RE2 and RE8. RE8 is a mix between a survival and action game. I still say it has survival elements because all the weapons have slow fire rate. The automatic weapons are weak and you end up reloading a lot. You also strafe really slow. You can get stronger weapons, but mostly you get them in new game+.

The game is super atmospheric and there is a section that is especially creepy. I got the heebie jeebies playing it even after my 4th playthrough. There is a lot of replay value with challenges, mercenary mode, higher difficulties, and NG+.

Addicting

I really enjoyed this game. I wouldn't say its particularly scary, but it's definitely suspenseful. I think this one is better than the first. I don't like the ending though.

This game deserves every bit of hype it's gotten.

This is a great addition to the Darksiders universe. Strife is a cool character and the type to make frequent snarky comments when things get too heavy. This is by no means as full of an experience as the main games, but for being a budget game, it is a polished top tier game. The top down view will probably be a turn off to some which is understandable. I don't play twin stick shooters often, so the controls took some getting used to, specifically aiming Strife's guns precisely using right analog stick. However, after several missions, I got accurate without much thought.

The most fun began when I was able to finesse the game with correctly timed dodges. You get invincibility frames which can be increased by equipping creature cores. When timed correctly, a shadow clone spawns for a short time doing additional damage. These clones can get quite strong when upgraded.

There is quite a good amount of platforming. As others have stated in other reviews, some can be annoying. I found them to be fun except in the later missions when difficulty ramped up. I used strife the whole game, and switched to War for the platforming, since if you fall you take health damage. And be prepared to fall since platforming in top down view can be difficult.

The story is good, but without spoiling anything, there's a part that's terribly anti-climatic.

All in all, this is a great game though flawed. There are plenty of extras if you find yourself motivated to do so. The extras include the arena mode, collecting all upgrades, and the several difficulties above normal to tackle. The game takes about 13 hours to complete if you go straight for mission objectives. And much more depending on how much of the extras you do.

We couldn't stop laughing. This game is hilarious with friends. I think it's kind of hard to tell what its like to play this watching video, because my friend at first didn't see whats so special about this until he played it and after he was cracking up too. The ragdoll physics and the inability to fully control our character leads to a lot of silliness.

Bought this game with friends. Clearly states in store page MMO which stands for massively MULTIPLAYER game. CLEARLY states among each other, that we will play said game TOGETHER. Internet was properly working which means said friends could CONNECT, aka there were no excuses to play this as a single player game, and yet that is what happened.

Why do leaves fall from trees? Well you could say a bunch of reasons, but some questions just aren't worth asking. LIKE WHY THE !@#@!%! DID WE PLAY THIS AS A MASSIVELY SINGLEPLAYER GAME?!?!? #!$!@#!@!@#!@#!##!@#!##!@!@#!@#!##!
