I would appreciate your insight - I used to play X2 quite a bit. I tried X Rebirth for a few minutes and then never played it again. If you were going to start playing one of the X games today for the first time... what would you consider to be the best one. I have three iterations of X3 in my library untouched and am considering diving in.

Hey, that would definitely need some scripting, which I've never done for any X games before. The mods I made for Rebirth are rather simple where I just removed a few files and did basically nothing more than that and I would have to study it thoroughly before being able to make what you're asking for, which I unfortunately don't have the time for.

However, I don't really think it's worth the effort to make mods for Rebirth anymore, with X4 Foundations behind the corner. Why not just wait for it instead and see if such thing isn't already implemented in the game? ;)

heya hows it going? hey how hard would it be to creat a patrol mod for Xrebirth, like the x2 patrol where u can set point to point patrol rout inside a sector or multi sectors or mod the game deffence oficer to keep ships withing 10km of its home station the current game set the ship goes 35km from the station its guarding.

As Carl Sagan said many times: "We are made of star stuff" which perfectly holds true, as everything on this or probably any other planet originated from the stars, therefore, so did we. I probably found that humbling enough to put it in there.

Also, I simply didn't bother enough to think about anything more original than that. Maybe I'll change it into something more understandable sometime
