Playing this game made me realise how good rimworld is. This is just a worst version by a mile.

Positives:
Great music
Great immersion
Great maps
The aliens are cosmetically perfect and they've done a good job with them

The negatives (its early access remember)
Janky alien AI
Lack of objectives
Lack of variety with weapons
No type chat, only VIOP

The Good:
The game is nice and fluid but the dropshotting and shotgun domination from the old MW2 continues. you make like that you may not.
You can no longer slide and shoot.

Graphics are great.

The bad:

Constant crashes interrupting game play. I gave up after 5 crashed within an hour.

The UI is severely lacking, it's clunky and ugly, Feels more like a port from a console than a true PC game UI.

The map layout is lacking creativity and all play the same.
