Excellent remaster. Feels very comparable to playing a source port like PrBoom+, but has many QoL features of its own that make it stand out.

Also bonus points because Hellknight go "AAWAA" when he dies that's funny :)

Amazing all the way through. My expectations were subverted left and right. Without getting into spoilers, all I'll say is to always expect the unexpected.

I wanted to like this game so badly. I tried so hard to give it a chance. But I just do not like it.

Outside of the Denuvo and Epic Games Online Service people (rightly) rag on...the game just isn't fun. Only the first few zones are good to okay, and the rest are boring slogs I would never want to replay again. Even Sonic Mania (which is like 80% a rehash of old zones) feels more original and fun than this.

Also...the $60+ price of entry is not worth it. If you're REALLY curious about this game, wait for a good sale (preferably if it goes down to around $30). Otherwise it's just a waste of your time and money. Sonic Mania gives you so much more bang for your buck, so just buy that if you want a Classic Sonic experience.

This game is both a lot like TF2 and nothing like it at the same time. It's pretty janky but that's what gives it its charm. Despite what many bad reviews say, there's a very good amount of people who still play this game. You can usually find a well-populated server. Overall, I would highly recommend this game. It's still great fun even after all these years.

Very cute and funny game. I didn't expect what's essentially an elaborate April Fool's joke to be this genuinely fun. You really don't have anything to lose by adding this to your library, since it's free. 110% recommended.
