PLAY THIS GAME BEFORE YOU PLAY ARKHAM CITY. arkham city is the much better game but this game fills in some story. Get both games, they are both amazing, but this is the one to get first. Anyway, this game has great combat, intreguing story, and is overall really fun to play. The downside is some cheasy dialog but thats made up for with great villans and decent boss fights (scarecrow boss fights are really friggin cool and fun). 8/10

HOLY CRAP THIS GAME!!!! I loved the crap out of this game, and while it is short (it took me about 3 hours to beat the game), I think this is one of my favourite games ever. At least in my top four. 9.8/10 (really crazy good for me).

The basic plot: two brothers have to go to a far away land to get a cure for a rare illness their father has. The story adds onto this and has several twists and turns but this is the basis of it.

Whats interesting about this game is that there is no actual interpretable dialog. what i mean by that is they make sounds, but its gibberish, and you have to look for context clues and hear the emotion in their voices to understand whats going on.

This game is basically a puzzle game with two buttons, analog stick for movement and action buttons to act upon the world (im pretty sure you can only play this game with a controller). the controls are smoothe and the difficulty is good, i failed a few times but no part was frusterating. The graphics are amazing and the art and world they create will stick with me for months (seriously breathtaking).. If you love art, BUY THIS GAME. if you have emotions, BUY THIS GAME!!!!! basically the only reason i wouldn't say to buy this game is if you just are not that sympathetic. because this game relies on the fact that you WANT the dad to be cured and want these kids to succeed, if you dont give a rats ass about the dad or the kids you wont be motivated to play the game and probably wont have that much fun.

Like i said before, probably one of my favourite games ever, I would recommend this game to basically anyone. It was short but incredibly sweet, I loved the crap out of this game :)

Dark souls 2 is a king among games 9/10 (which is very good from me). As the successor to dark souls 1 (which i like better overall than Dks2. so if you love this game and finish and get bored, pick up Dks1) , dark souls 2 it is bigger, the already amazing combat is more refined, and the online pvp is better than ever. dark souls thrives on exicting precise combat unlike most other games out there.

This game has a rep for being difficult. which isnt true, this game is hard to learn, not difficult. For ex: some enemies seemingly have no weakness, but if you are aware of your surroundings and use your knowledge of the game you WILL figure out how to defeat every enemy you come across. While this game is "difficult" it is extremely rewarding, you notice your improvement and after every playthrough you will notice you can deafeat enemies which origionally took you hours to kill now take you minutes.

Like i said before this game is based on the combat, not necisarily the story. the story, while interesting and overall ok, isnt easy to find as it hides in npc dialouge and item descriptions, if you play games soley for the story do not buy this game. If you dont like RPGs do not buy this game (unless you really want to challenge yourself). and if you are a casual gamer who plays games every once and a while for fun, and dont really want to try that hard, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.

Recap: Dark souls 2 is a unique RPG with combat unlike most others and if you are willing to perservere over the mountain that is the learning curve in this game you will be heavily rewarded. I love this game and it is truly a king among games, but it isn't for everyone. Are you willing to join the Souls community and praise the sun? then COME ON AND BUY THIS GAME!

Pro: if you enjoy strategy games and have not picked this game up, do so now! this game just sucked me in: I remember starting a new playthrough, losong track of time, and by the time i was awoken from my sluber, 6 hours had passed.
Con: this game is complex, it takes many hours to learn (i have 90 hours in and i think i only know the basics) and so if you are not willing to put in time to LEARN the game, you will be lost and frusterated, and thus may put the game down prematurley.

I would recommend this game to any history buff or strategist (8.5/10)

this game is intelligent and driven by the narrative, however, the game isnt action packed or that evigorating, the reason this game is good is because of clever comedy. while the game is short (i beat it in 1:30) it is definitley worth buying if you liked the comedy in portal. however, i did consider this game good, but i also considered it overpriced for how much game time i got out of it. I would buy this game at half price. (7/10) a good review by my standards.

If you enjoy an extremely clever story, with amazing memorable characters, and enjoy action packed puzzle games that don't feel like a puzzle game; then buiy this game now. its origional, creative, and intelligent story and level design is what drives this game forward. while this game is short (i beat it in 2.5 hours) it was definitley worth the money. 8.5/10 (a really good review for me at least)

if you are interested in a game that is a tribute to old sidescroller games, but has awesome music, amazing level design, intelligent enemies, and RPG aspects; then you should buy this game now. The controlls are extremely responsive, and like dark souls, the game does not hold your hand, the game is only difficult until you find a strategy to suceed ON YOUR OWN, without the games help. This aspect i love and makes victory so much more exilerating. I would recommend this game to anyone who liked dark souls, or mario, or any old sega genisis game. This game is truly nostalgic. And even if you have not played these games and have money burning a hole in your pocket, i would check this game out. 8.5/10 (a really good review from me)

this is my second favourite game of all time. All you need to know is if you like fps's with great mechanics, great graphics, memorable characters, and an amazing and complex story which will you will remember for years to come, then buy this game. Amazing 9.65/10 (an outstanding review from me).

Decent Game, worth playing, but has many plot holes and events that dont make sense in conjunction. But, regardless the story has good heart and if u can get past the flawed story then you will like the game because the mechanics and graphics are both amazing. I would recommend this to anyone if they have played all of the other better games i can think of. Worth buying and playing for hlaf price, but i recommend using your money better. 6.5/10 (a decent review from me)

best fps ive ever played, amazing yet simple story, great charicters, and great action and amazingly creative. 10/10. if you ave not played this game, you should uninstall steam now. its too good to pass up.
