It's most probably the v2.0 vs. v3.0 that clearly makes the difference. i7-2600 is good enough, I'd one before and played Skyrim on max video settings with no problem at all. And with Skyrim's enhanced HD graphics. You may have some other bottlenecks elsewhere undoubtedly. Time to change your mobo maybe... :mirage: Merry Christmas then! LOL
