I feel like most of the reviews ive been seeing are literally just people complaining about this being a survival game. Games great as long as you have the internet and decent internet. The only complaints im seeing that are understandable are the desync issues, optimization (which with my 1070 im having 0 issues) so maybe on lower end PC's. If you dont want a survival game, then dont buy this. If you want an experience like the old DayZ days, but with a game that actually updates and devs that actually care then this is great. Theyve come a looooooooong way since August and i only see them going further and further until this game is the perfect example of what a survival game should be.

This game did gun play right, and nothing else.

There's no challenge even up in the higher difficulties, the animation quality outside of cut scenes is absolute garbage, story from the get go is terrible with absolutely no emotion (wont spoil where or why). Theres maybe 6 or 7 guns that as you upgrade look the exact same unless you pay real money for skins. Not worth the 60$ at all. Aiming to get a refund ASAP.

After years and years of defending DayZ and loads of hope being put into the project im giving up. They took time from finishing this game to make Vigor (For Xbox only) in their version of early access. They made a second group to push Dayz to Xbox rather then spending the money/time/people to make DayZ what i could of been. 2013 was a while back and now Devolver along with Croteam and Gamepires relased SCUM. SCUM works, the AI is decent, and the concept is good with a story, decent shooting mechanics, hunting and tracking aswell as a much better survival feeling. Bohemia im sorry, i just cant wait anymore for DayZ to become good/less bug ridden. Many fun nights were had in Chernarus but its time to give my fat ass prisoner in Croatia a spin and play just a fundamently better game.

Paid DLC, Fishing was removed, adding old items and acting like theyre new.
