I want to like this, its a mecha game, we dont get many of these in the first place it seems, but jesus this game has issues.
- The ping is horrible no matter what
- The monitization is a little weird
- Certain thing you can only get in the dumb PvPvE mode they have, which is dominated by 1 or 2 mechs, and if you dont wanna play them, then you lose

When everything works, i feel like its a great game, but until they fix literally anything (or even acknowledge it), this is a hot mess

The gameplay and feeling of shooting traitors of super earth, is unmatched imo.
at launch there are some problems with crashes and matchmaking, but its not entirely broken and the devs are already fixing issues one day after launch.
if you've played the first Helldivers, don't expect everything to be the same, resources are used differently and not every stratagem is the same.

Both hilarious and heartfelt story that i wont say anything about, other than give it a go!

As a newcomer to Armored Core in general, this is the epitome of mech games imo (Mostly because there are not a lot in the first place)
Controls are great for controller, the lock on system is a toggle, for players older to the genre, and the difficulty still has that Fromsoftware feel without punishing you constantly for dying, and you WILL die, but when you do you can switch up your build before re spawning, building for a specific boss for example.
The build variety is great, me and my friend have complete different mech's, only complaint being is that there doesn't seem to be a lot of components right now, hopefully more will be added.

Even in early access stage that its in right now, it feels like they took scenes straight from the movie and put you into it, my first couple of games were filled with teammates dying due to drop pods, panicked screaming when the bugs broke though our walls and streamed in like salmon in a river, and of course while all yelling quotes from the movies!
