Resident Evil: requiem is quite the adventure. Capcom did a good job balancing two separate gameplay philosophies between Grace and Leon. Grace’s early segments are very compact and scary, especially The Girl. Leon’s are much akin to RE4, makes sense he’s a seasoned veteran.

Grace is a great new addition to our cast of characters. Her personality meshes well with the rest of the characters, especially her dynamic with Leon.

The segments of the game are pretty strong there’s only a few areas I think are weak ( the Orphanage, it's so boring , it’s much solid as compared to the middle parts of Village. Grace’s final segment is okay, it’s not as good as the care center. The care center is beyond terrifying! I do also wish Grace got more guns in the standard game, but honestly it’s not that bad! Leon on the other hand is just awesome.

The narrative of Requiem is AMAZING. I was skeptic that Village’s plot line was not going to be addressed in this game, but it is. The later half of Requiem does have a lot of fan service done well. It was fitting especially for Leon connecting the beginning of his 28 year long journey to modern day Raccoon City. The Commander was really cool to see!

Overall, Requiem is peak and near perfection.

Dino Crisis 1 is an interesting spin off type of game. I did like some of its differences to RE, with its item crates you can choose to get ammo or health items. I did enjoy the puzzles of the games. That being said I hate how you don’t have a journal in case you already read a useful file, you have to walk all the way back to the entry, if you forgot to write information down. There’s a lot less enemies in this game, so the dinos have more hp than zombies, but there is less enemies in Dino Crisis.

I loved how Dino Crisis also had the choice system like Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, Capcom should consider bringing it back!

Overall alright game, it has its quirks, that being said Dino Crisis is still really fun!

Cronos: The New Dawn is fantastic. It takes heavy inspiration from Dead Space, but still manages to feel like its own thing. All while being a great game. New Dawn (1981 Poland) is such a cool environment, and truly unique. The weapons are fun to use. Some of the events of the story aren’t explained, but I’d say it adds to the experience versus subtracting, however it’s worth mentioning. The Traveler’s journey is a fun one to follow. BlooberTeam is on a roll, with first SH2R and now this.

Tormented Souls 2 is great, I’d say overall it improved over TS1 in practically every way. Caroline’s has better weapons than what I remember from TS1, they also are very unique looking. I love how they are all jury rigged, helps sell the survival aspect. Also it’s clear that once again the game took inspiration from Silent Hill 3 (in my opinion) which is good by the way. I’d also say the game takes some of its inspiration from Resident Evil 4, done well also! Caroline may or not take a dash of personality from a certain leather bomber jacket wearing, roundhouse kicking blonde. The game also has really unique puzzles. Only annoying thing is the final boss but it’s really not that bad.

I don't even know where to begin for Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon. The combat is really rewarding and fun. The characters of AC6 are great, they all have campy but fun personalities. (You can't get enough of G6 Red and V.IV Rusty) The more important characters Handler Walter and Ayre are also great and surprisingly had depth. Rubicon 3 looks and most importantly feels massive. The boss fights are definitely difficult but man are they stunning. What are you waiting for? Go enter your Armored Core and land on Rubicon, learn what it means to be Raven!

SOMA is a very fun take on the atmospheric horror genre. The game is slow at the start, but once it picks up, it becomes rather terrifying. Also I love how it constantly poses the question what it means to be human.

RE:Verse is extremely boring and barebones. Install if you want to be bored.

If you want to feel like John Wick, then this game is for you.
