in reflection the audio is shocking and the amount of modding required to get this to work was crazy

This is a classic game oozing with atmosphere.
It feels a little dated, as a lot of what we expect from modern FPS games ,like aiming down sights (ADS), isn’t here. But honestly, it’s a game you should play at least once. While it's not terrifying by today’s standards, it definitely has its moments.

The standout feature is the AI. Enemies react to how you play, notice your flashlight, and generally make combat feel dynamic and engaging.

10/10 for its time.

The Beast Inside has too many ideas and not enough direction. There's the idea of a great game here, but with its choppy narrative, random boss-esque sections, and mechanics that feel ripped straight out of Amnesia(but executed poorly)I can't recommend it.

However, if you're playing with others watching, the game might still be entertaining. You'll be in stitches when it completely misses the mark.

Gumbo not included and people are rats, I have no idea what I'm doing, but killed someone by chucking pointy stick. Stressed Depressed and Certainly a mess.

So lets talk about performance,

I'm very lucky I am running this on a beefy set up yet I still have crashes.

I have tried to optimise the game myself and got great results after so really I have no issues with it.

I wanted to add this positive review because the game is great and is lets face the best fps Warhammer 40k has had!

Feedback is great and Fatshark has asked for it but remember this is the preorder BETA, the game is still not released so don't go on the steam page and cry because its not perfect. they know its no and so should you. they've put some amazing work into the game and if you can make a better game do it I dare you. But leaving a bad review along the lines of game crashed its bad without stating you tried using the performance guide they have offered and your own head is crazy.

we are pc players, we know that someone using a 3080 or higher is gonna have a better time then someone running a 1050ti and fatshark do too. beta are used to have a look a stability and they have improved I've had the privilege of playing their other betas and every time they have improved.

saying that if on release the game is shocking to play then hell yeah hold them accountable but right now we get to help make this game better by giving crash reports and having their servers die.

And I've seen a few review saying that vermentide 2 runs better, it didn't... it was a mess at the start and they fixed it (after a while).

lets be a part of their journey to bring this game into a better state and not cry about things that can and will change and they are trying to do so.
