Custom Swiss changes:
Teams are pre-seeded by staff discretion, in order of skill. For the first round, when everyone is tied w/ 0-0 record, highest seeds play the highest low seeds. Ex: In a 16 team total, 1 v 9, 2 v 10, 3 v 11, … , 7 v 15, 8 v 16. This is essential, and a huge advantage at our disposal because this combats the biggest problem in a classic swiss: the RNG of the first round, where teams get a low OPT because they had a bad first opponent.
These seeds should be only known to staff. No point in making them public, as they’re a 1-time thing (first round).
