Currently there are many people who are pushing to legalize Marijuana... The issue was broguht up in an international meeting... A few countries want to legalize marijuana so they can spend more time chasing down more harmful narcotics... All there needs to be sone is to convince the president...

There is still the addiction side affect with enough use... you can't stop... if you do... well you go through withdrawl... from what I have heard, it isn't fun! from my last statement the reason they are a "felony" is because even though the state(s) say "We think it should be legal!!! It is legal!!!" The federal side of the judical system says... "OH HELL NAH!"

EVEN THOUGH!!! Anphetamines are a type 2 narcotic... That means hospitals can use it... -_- ... and some opiets(Morphine) are also legal for a hospital to use... There is no safe way to use drugs... EVEN IF people who have canabis cards say the have "problems" like back pain and other sorts of aliments... Are technicly are committing a felony...
