It is one of those games where you have to sort of step back and think about what you are doing.
but once you adjust yourself and the combat clicks, everything just flows like water.

The setting is so damn pretty, and I love the high intensity traditional percussion.

Navigation was alright, the platforming felt a little finnicky at times especially when trying to jump towards a grapple point. Fortunately platforming is not the main focus of this game, and so the one somewhat negative element is experienced very minimally.

Overall not bad. I'm curious if Fromsoft would explore more with this story, world, or just anything like this.

Compared to previous Soulsborne titles, Elden Ring is a strong recommend to those who love these types of games, and also new features to help out those who aren't quite as experienced to accommodate them as well. Looking from a perspective of previous soulsborne titles compared to this, the world feels a lot more vibrant, the music hits differently with a more heroic tone. I love how the UX makes me interact with the world differently, by having me explore with literally what I see.

I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love this game.

A pleasant nostalgia trip with a modernized UI, wonderful additions to the existing mechanics, and made with lots of love. If you have lived your days from the earlier EBFs on Flash, then you will enjoy this adventure!
