These are my thoughts on the multiplayer portion on Halo: Infinite, as of the time of writing this review.

Halo Infinite is great addition to the series multiplayer offerings, and for a series first the multiplayer is "free", which I'll explain further in the review.

The Good
The game looks, sounds and feels fantastic, it is unmistakably Halo at its core which is great. While some weapons from previous titles like the SMG, DMR or Covenant Carbine haven't (yet) returned, everything that has is better than ever such as the BR and the AR which is now viable, and isn't a glorified wet tissue paper cannon.
Vehicles are generally on the good side, with the chain-gun on the warthog being what I believe to be on if it's best renditions, but vehicles like the banshee feel too week in most situations.
Music has also been beautifully done in this game, taking notes from tracks in previous games and putting newer twists on them.
Graphically the game is quite nice too, from the Spartans to the scenery, 343 have put a lot of effort into the major and minor details, plus if you party up with friends, you can see them all chilling together in the menus while you're searching for games. On the topic of Spartans and customisation, it should be noted that there's no longer a defacto blue and red team, each spartan now has an outline to denote if they're friendly, squad mate or enemy. It's a change a lot of people don't agree with but I've had no issue with it and it let's people show of their Spartans, which 343 heavily are leaning into, as I'll go into in the Bad points.

The Bad
Because the game is Free to play now, even if like me you pre-ordered the campaign, that doesn't mean anything at the moment. They've monetised the game by using a 'battle pass' system which I'm already sick of games doing, they're boring, unfulfilling and a product of some of the most uninspired games of the past few years. This wouldn't all be so bad if it weren't for the fact this is currently the only means of progression. Gone are the days of seeing someone in really cool armor, knowing they got it because they did some challenge to get it, or were just good at the game or a higher level than you. Now it generally means they've either spent more money or time in the game than you. While it only costs around £8 to get the 'premium' pass, which also grants you an extra slot for challenges. To progress this pass, you need to either just play games, for a small amount of XP or complete challenges, which are random and more often than not will force you to change how you play, for example 'get X amount of kills with this weapon/vehicle' which would be fine, but not every map has every weapon/vehicle.
Others challenge you to win specific game modes, which because there's only 3 PvP playlists that don't let you choose what gamemode you play, it's luck of the draw how quickly you'll get through the levels. Thankfully enough people are complaining about this that the devs are looking to make changes and improvements, hopefully for the better.

On the technical side of things, the game generally runs well on my rig, with a RTX 3070 and an I7 10700k I generally get around 90+ fps on every arena map (4vs4) but BTB(12vs12) generally can go from anywhere to 30 - 70 fps. Don't feel it's an issue with my specs either just seems like poor optimisation to me, even on 'high' settings an not ultra.
Network/hitreg issues also seem prevalent, with me and other players getting hit around corners alot, shots and melee hits not registering, player models not syncing with where they're looking, for example being assassinated from the front, because the server still thinks I'm turning around, but I can clearly see the guy smacking my face.
Lastly they've added an 'Academy' which acts as a friendly training ground where you can test weapons, play against bots and generally learn how to play the game. While I think this is a fantastic edition, as the player base in the MCC either play like they've never heard of a video game before, or they play like there's money involved. The same goes for Infinite, with some players sweating like their life depends on it, and others walk around like they're completely gormless. If 343 has gone to the effort to put this mode in the game, they need to push it more so the players who're most likely to quit the game can learn how to get better, rather than going in blindly and being beaten like they owe the sweaty players money.

There's many other points I could go into, such as the pricing of cosmetics, lack of Forge, Firefight, Infection and some of the more questionable additions, but Steam reviews can only be so long, and there are those more qualified to rant about it than me.
Overall, the game is great and I look forward to putting many more hours into it, the foundation is there but 343 need to build on it by making smarter decisions, and hopefully listening to the smart and logical feedback they're receiving. They've shown what they can do with the Master Chief collection, hopefully they can translate some of that knowledge to Infinite. If you can run it, fit it on an SSD and maybe if you have friends to play with, I'd definitely recommend it.

One of the best Star Wars games to date, hands down. It's technologically, visually and mechanically stunning! Though that does mean you'll want a decent rig with decent specs to make the most of it.
Gameplay wise my expectations were exceded, finishing it on the second highest difficulty, finding most of the collectibles and finishing the main stoey after 18 hours, offering a fair balance of challenge and enjoyment. I have heard it being described as 'dark souls-esque' mixed with the modern Tomb Raider games which is a basic but close enough description.
The premise of the game is you're a Jedi in exile after order 66 called Cal Kestis and you go on your quest to rebuild the Jedi order, meeting many interesting characters (who are greatly performed and voice acted) and travelling to different planets, battling a variety of enemies from the Empire, the wildlife and locals. Because you're a Jedi, the game plays around Force abilities for combat and platforming, as well as your trusty Lightsaber which can be heavily customised throughout the game, the same as your ship, outfit and companion: BD-1.
The price could be a hard point for some. I feel I got my moneys worth even from one play through, the Devs did a great job, but some with a less than neutral disposition to EA might not feel the same way, but still if they want the game should get it on here, and on a sale if
you really don't want EA to get as much money.
To conclude, this is an truly amazing game, certainly one of my best of 2019, and I hope to see a similar style of game, or even a prequel or sequel with the same/similar cast.

A fun, challenging and rewarding game. It's a rough diamond with the occasional issues and a community that often seems hell bent on ruining itself and the game.
If you're looking for a game that rewards skill, teamwork (usually) and coordination then this is the game for you, pick it up while it's cheap.

Mount and Blade : Warband is an open world Medieval RPG set in the land of 'Calradia' which is loosely based off Medieval/Feudal Europe in terms of factions and equipment. There's no story and no path clearly set out for you, it is what you choose. It is a fun and at times addicting game but it is by no means perfect. If you're on the bench about buying this game I will try and give you the pros and cons of the game from having experience most if not all of what the game has to offer. For ease of reading and organising I'll split the review into different sections, which might make it easier to find out what you want.

Graphics and Performance
This game is getting fairly old now and while it might not look great compared to games from 2016, it still does well with what it has. This being said, the game is fairly easy to run, even on lower end PCs but at lower settings, because the highest Direct X this game can handle is 9 so it's fairly inneffecient sometimes, especially in bigger battles online.
Native singleplayer and average size multiplayer games should be fine and easy to run however. As for the graphical quality itself, the world, lighting, armour weapons are quite well detailed, but characters body's and faces and at often times horses are lacking a few too many polygons and detail and can look quite ghastly at times, but if you're playing the game just for your characters face, you've got problems so it's something you should be easily able to look past.

Gameplay
The game has two modes: Single and Multiplayer, both are similar and different in their own ways, but I'll go into Multiplayer after. In single player, you make your character, change their looks, stats and even their back story, which also means that if you really want to, you can just become a trader or a bandit or even a king if you wanted to! You can accomplish most of your goals, whatever they are with either the sword, or speech which is what I admire about this game and how it is very open ended with what you can do, but that can also be it's downfall, especially if it's your first time playing blind, with very little sense of direction, you may not know what to do and the game only holds your hand for so far before throwing you out in this world. But if you use your head, you'll figure things out and it will be all the more satisfying. Your characters and other characters are also not voiced, so the game will require a lot of reading if you're properly bothered about the the world.

Now onto the combat, which is probably the most integral part of this game if not one of them. While the game is no where near the most realistic, or visceral Medieval combat game on PC, it is still plenty of fun and very satisfying and rewarding, mostly in singleplayer where you can single handedly take down a group of twenty bandits with well placed blocks and attacks which will make you feel like a badass, even on the easiest difficulty, however I do have problems with the combat in this game, which are certain weapons being crazy fast and very hard to counter in the right hands (multiplayer mostly) and a lack of stamina which means you can block and attack indefinitley which often leads to fights and duels being more 'spammy' than skillful and methodical. It can also lead to people (again mostly online but bots can do it too sometimes) feigning or however you spell it, which is basically pretending to attack to get someone to block a certain way or let their guard down, but this requires you to start swinging your weapon, which can be done repeatedly which not only makes you look a fool, it's also stupidly unrealistic (but then again they never claimed to be a realistic game).

If swords or axes aren't your style, then you can also try your hand at archery, which is also fun and rewarding, but also at times annoying, due to hitboxes on shields, that seem to magnetise arrow heads towards the shield, which is particularly annoying. if you're trying to shoot over or under a shield, and you can clearly see your arrow magically teleport into the shield, but it's not game breaking to me, and thankfully you can eventually break shields, through attacking or shooting them.
You also have Cavalry, horseback combat which is incredibly fun and at times cheesy, especially if none of the opposing warbands have cavalry, you can run rings around them. While on horseback, usually the faster you're going the more damage you will do which is great if you're using a Lance or a Spear, but you can also use crossbows and bows while on horseback, if you're feeling a more 'Mongol' vibe.
And lastly one of the biggest features of the game, is Sieges, which are incredibly fun, attacking and defending in both Multiplayer and Single player. However, they differ greatly between the two modes, as in Single player, to me they often feel underwhelming in size and scale, as you're usually just attacking/defending one ladder on one wall and it's just a blood bath for both sides, which is mostly fun if you're a defender with a weapon that can one hit kill most enemies, but other than that, it's not awfully exciting after the first few. Multiplayer however, Siege is my favourite game mode and these can be full scale sieges, 100 vs 100 players, all playing different roles, attacking different points, it's pure chaos and speaking of which, onto the Multiplayer.

Online
Out of all my time I have put into this game, Multiplayer has probably taken up most of it, across different modules and game modes and like I said previously, most of that is on sieges on big servers with lots of players, to give you the feeling like you're in a proper battle. This game, like many is best played with a group of friends, even just one will do but you'll do a lot better and go a lot further with someone at your side.
As well as Siege, there are other game modes such as 'duel' which is a game mode that allows you to duel other players one on one, usually to practice your skills. There's also the usual 'team deathmatch' style modes with infinite lives and ones with single lives per round. A word of warning though, if your internet is a bit crap then your ping to servers will not be too great which will often greatly effect your ability to fight, and if you struggle to get consistent, high frame rate that will also hinder you too.
The community like any online enabled game is a big part of it, and 6 years after release it still has an active and slowly growing community, most likely because of how easy the game is to run and how it's often cheap in a sale but it has it's usual toxic players that like to make fun of new players, or the people who still think memes are funny. Other than that it's a pretty sound and cooperative community.

Modding
This game is ModDB's most popular game of all time, it has so many mods for so many different things it's a little crazy and the game even has Steam Workshop support, so some mods are even more convenient for you to access. These mods can range from simple overhauls of the base or 'Native' game, adding in more politcal options, to Multiplayer mods that add a progression system allowing you to buy your own gear and keep it across different games, to fullblown new modules that add new lands, or even new game modes. My personal favourite is 'Full Invasion 2' which is a wavebased survival game mode where you and many, many other players can fight hordes of enemies from varieties of factions, while you yourselves can fight as many factions such as Lord of the Rings factions, or Warhammer or even historical factions. The possibilities of this game are great but it is restricted by it's age and it's memory capabilities sadly.

Overall this game is definitely worth a buy, especially during a sale and if you get a few friends involved too. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have!

Dark Souls 3 is an Action RPG in a Gothic Medieval fantasy setting, with Japanese inspirations from it's Japanese designers.
I'd like to start off by saying this is by far my favourite and the best souls game I've ever played ( Haven't played Demon Souls or BloodBorne though). It is a vast improvement over the previous 2 Dark Souls games, not that they were bad games, not at all but it's done what a sequel should do, and has (in my opinion) outdone both of them, taking the good from both. In this review I'll try go over the key parts of what I think will make you want to buy the game ( the short of it is that you should).

Performance
This game's performance has been mixed for the most part, it's worked fine for me and I've not suffered any serious issues during my entire playthrough, the only one's I've encountered are the occasional stuttering or a few frame drops here and there. To clarify, my PC meets the minimum requirements
with;
AMD FX-4350
8GB DDR3 RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti

My game ran at 45 - 60 FPS most of the time on High settings, with the occasional stutters coming from over the top effects ( A problem which was in DS1 too).
Like I mentioned, I've had no problems that were critical, but some of the people who are complaining have valid reasons, for example if they have quite a powerful PC, but if you're a half wit who's got a worse PC than the minimum REQUIRMENTS, yes what is REQUIRED to play the game with minimal problems, then don't complain. And if you're someone in that situation looking to get this game, you might get lucky, but I'd get a better PC honestly.

Gameplay
For people who have never played a souls/borne game before and you're looking to get this one, seeing as it's the newest then you may already know about the supposed 'brutal' difficulty, which isn't entirely true for the most part. It's a difficult game in the sense that your hand is never held during the game, you're given a basic tutorial at the start of the game, teaching you the need to know mechanics for combat and the world then you're told to go out into that world. There's also the matter of things such as a lack of health regen (to start with) which means you've got to be a bit more methodical in your combat and how you approach a situation, because rushing in and getting spanked from pillar to post will get you killed, alot.
For players who are somewhat familiar with the game, a new feature was added called 'weapon arts' or something like that, allowing you to perform different attacks/buffs from the normal moveset of the weapons in the game. The range from simple guard breaking attacks, to ludicrously fast slash and dash attacks.
The pace of combat has also been sped up, in favour of faster attacks and more rolling in most cases, which is similar to what I've seen from BloodBorne, which is good and bad, but for me it takes away from this medieval theme, with some of these really cool swords, that are just too slow in some cases.
In my opinion the combat in this game is what sets it appart from other games and you can't have the game without it, so if you're not a fan of fast paced, skill based (mostly) action packed combat that will punish you, but will be so rewarding if you win, then maybe miss out on this game.

Story and World
Since the start, the souls series has been known for it's epicly sized worlds, with massive landscapes, enemies and bosses and it's no different in DS3, and unlike in DS2 the world is more interconnected like in DS1, so if you see a cool looking area in the distance, chances are you can visit it, but more often than not, it's not a direct route.
Some people seem to forget the story of this game, because a lot of them play it for the cool looking combat or simply the challenge, but Dark Souls has a lot of lore behind it, even though a lot is hidden away and you have to go and find it yourself in some cases. In DS3 it's not just it's own standalone game, it has references, some big and some small to the previous titles and as someone who's played a lot of the previous games, I like how they've kept some form of continuity in the series. So if you'd like a deep, interesting lore to get into then this is a great game for that.

Bosses and Difficulty
The difficulty of this game needs it's own category, simply because it's a staple of the series for most people. The most difficulty comes from the bigger enemies, that attack aggresively, or that need to have their patterns of attack learnt to defeat them and the same is with the bosses. Now if you've played the previous games, you may have noticed how (again in my opinion) Dark Souls 2 difficulty, wasn't as hard as DS1, which I believe to be mostly in that the attacks of the DS2 bosses had somewhat better hitboxes (so you didn't die from as many ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ deaths) and their attacks were more predictable and easier to dodge. In DS3, the difficulty is noticeable ramped up, mostly in the later game after you've gotten used to how the game works and feels, but Bosses and enemies alike are more relentless with attacks, and can chain a lot of attacks together, which means you mustn't rely on simply blocking attacks, as rolling now costs less stamina, so being agile is often the key to victory.
During my first playthrough, there wasn't a boss that I couldn't handle eventually, sometimes you need to level up a bit and come back, or simply summon someone to help and I'll explain the online next.

Online play
Now I personally have a love/hate relationship with the online in this, mostly because of invasions. Invasions are when other players, come to your world with the goal of killing you, the host. For me personally I'm not overly bothered that they exist, it's annoying in some cases such as when you're trying to get through a particullarly hard area, and then a bad player invades and only sits behind tough enemies then gets you while you're overwhelmed. Now I can admire PvP, when it's fair. For new players this is extra difficulty that just isn't needed, even if they have summons it can still be irritating (Summons are players the are invited to help the host player in their world, mostly to defeat the area boss.) You can however invade and be the good guy, for example as a 'blue sentinel' which are players, dedicated to aiding other players in need, and do their best to protect them from invaders. This for me is somewhat satisfying, as you get to both help a new player not get stomped on, and you get to put an invader in their place and ruin their day. A big problem with the online PvP is that, in a game where life and death is decided frame by frame sometimes, the latency issues are a real problem and it doesn't matter if you're like me and have superb and fast internet, someone with terrible internet will ruin a fight, because they'll be hitting you before their animations even start, they'll lag all over the place and all sorts, it's just not well optimised for some people, who still insist on playing and ruining other people's experiences. Online extends beyond invading and co-op, as you can see messages in your world, left by other players in theres giving hints (usually) and 'bloodstains' which show how other players died in that spot.
Lastly, while it is entirely possible to play the game in offline, so as to not get invaded by players, this also cuts you off from help from other players, through messages and summons, which some people may want rather than total isolation.

Sadly there's not enough space in these steam review for me to write about everything I love and hate about this game, such as the God awful community (at times) or the Beautifuly made sound track, but hopefully I've given you some insight to this great, albeit flawed in some areas-game. Definitley recommend this, maybe wait for a sale if you're strapped for cash, but this is something any souls fan should experience!

War Thunder is a free to play MMO Plane/Tank simulator with vehicles from the Spanish civil war, through World War 2 up to the Korean war.
My hours in this game would make you think I'd recommend this game, but I can't in good conscience do that. This game has both absolutely terrible qualities and redeeming qualities but ultimately it's not enough to recommend this game and below I'll tell you why. This review will be based mostly on my thoughts as a realistic game mode player.
If you want to skip the indepth review and just want my quick thoughts : It's a game that has great potential, but greed and lack of listening to the community are runing it. Give it a try if you're into your history or flight sim games as it's free, but you'll likely run into some things that will ruin it for you, I did and so have my friends who I play it with. Be it the grind, inbalance of matchmaking or the dreadful community.

Good points
Looks great - The game itself looks amazing, vehicles and locations have been carefully recreated to try their best to give an immersive experience and at a decent frame rate. I have a GTX 760 ti and run the air force part of the game at 100+ frames and the ground forces at 50+ frames on average. It dips from time to time depending on the map and the lighting.

Optimised - Almost every update brings some new optimisation in the form of how the networking is handled or how everything is rendered and will run moderatley well on some modern potato machines.

Choice - At this point in the game's development, there's a wide variety of what you can fly and drive with 5 nations : USA, Japan, Germany, Great Britain and the USSR. Every Nation has tanks except for Japan at the time of this review, and every Nation has a full air force, with Fighters, Bombers and Attackers to chose from and more are being added with each major update.

Progression - To progress in this game, you research different vehicles at each tier, to progress to the next. You'll start off with Biplanes and eventually work your way up to Jets. Each vehicle has upgrades it can receive, from engine upgrades to armament upgrades like bombs or rockets, or bigger cannons. This sadly can end up being grindy if you don't have premium.

Groups/Squads - If you have friends that play the game or will play it with you then you can form a group to go into matchmaking with, however you should ideally fly/drive vehicles of the same tier/battle rating (Battle rating is what defines what matches your vehicles go into, and what they go up against) Otherwise you can wind up with a slow, cumbersome biplane fighting against a post-war Jet.

Game modes - There are 3 game modes in this game, Arcade which has little to no realism, other than bullets and shells have drop, certain armor cannot be penetrated by shells and you can't fly into space. 'Realistic' and that term is starting to become looser with every update but in this, your pilot can be knocked out if you pull high G turns, the flight models of planes are more realistic, you can rip of parts of your plane from going too fast. Lastly is simulator, it's called this as it is as a simulation of what it would of been like, or so they try to make it like that. In this game mode you have very little HUD, it is better off played with a joystick and your enemies have no markers over them, nor do friendlies at longer ranges.

Bad points
Realism - I don't mean this as in I don't like how realistic it is, on the contrary it's not realistic enough. From them adding planes/tanks that never flew or saw action such as the Maus or the Horten 229. Another problem is in the realistic game mode which will see only biplanes fighting in the Korean war, or some Alternate history rubbish, which is Gaijin's answer to what would of happened if the cold war escalated right after WW2. Late war vehicles are going up against Korean war vehicles thanks to a new, messed up matchmaking system and is apparently no longer worth playing in late war Jets, as they get decimated by Korean era Jets.

Matchmaking - This used to be a good point, or so I would believe but nowadays like I mentioned, the higher tiers are messed up and no longer worth playing. at the lowest tier, you have 'reserve' vehicles which used to only fight other reserve vehichles, but due to lack of players searching for games the entire system has been compressed, which is unfair on new players, who get absolutely clubbed if they're in a biplane, and go up against early monoplanes with cannons. Some nations are favoured more than others, but I'll touch on that later.

Lack of Map variety - This one was hard to word, as there's a lot of maps in the game, from almost every theater of war but some how the matchmaking doesn't like variety. Naval fighters for example in the American tree don't often get get into Naval maps, instead they get thrown in with the British on 'Alternate History:Berlin'. I've no clue why they've done this, there have been loads of terrific maps that are actually historical, such Malta and Guadal canal. This lack of variet often puts Bombers and attackers at a disadvantage as it's often more difficult, if not near impossible for them to contribute to their team, if all they have to attack is a carrier fleet, which will rip a single plane to shreds with laser guided flak( not actually laser guided).

Community - This is pretty consistent with any game, particularly free games but the community is mostly God awful. There's obviously the few good people, who appreciate history, or how beautiful the game can look, but the majority is weeaboos, racists, unfunny meme-loving, man-childs or actual children. So just stay clear of that if you're still interested in the game.

Exploits - Though I said previously that they've optimised the game for bad PCs, this meant they added ultra low quality settings so even your grandma's oven could run the game, this brought the option (which has thankfully been removed since then) to completely remove foliage such as bushes and small trees in ground forces. This would give players the advantage of being able to see other players, who try to hide behind this foliage, which is more often than not big enough to conceal a Tank. Now the only option they have left in, is the ability to turn of grass + foliage in your optics, which puts players, who don't want to cheat and play the game at higher settings at a disadvantage. Another option is the game, while not really cheating is an option called 'verticle targetting' which essentially allows planes that have fixed guns to shoot bullets out the sides of their guns, rather than where they're actually aiming, which results in a lot of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kills and deaths as I have experienced on both ends.

Russian Bias - Now alot of people are skeptical, as am I about the so called 'Russian bias' in the game as it is made by Russian developers, who were born or lived in a time where the soviet union still existed and so did the Communist ferevour. A lot of players who say it exists are just outright bad players, who think their American bomber can out turn a Russian fighter and proceed to get shot down, then claim it's 'Russian bias' that they lost. I believe it's a combination of patriotism, and unfair matchmaking. For example, Russia goes up against Every nation, including it's allies but only in Korean war games and Alt History. This is often bad for the allies as they're split between British and American planes, which fly quite differently and fight differently, resulting in a split and on top of that, more allied players fly bombers and attackers which results in less fighters, which results in them being outnumbered in dogfights (usually). Secondly you get a lot of Russian fighters, usually their post war super-prop planes that first flew in say 1946, fighting German planes from 1942.

Hopefully you found this review useful, if you did I'm glad I was of help.

First off, Fallout is my favourite franchise of all time, that being said I'm not gonna be brown nosing Bethesda as despite this game being great and being one I absoutely recommend, it does have it's flaws which I will do my best to outline in this review. Anyway, onto the review.

Performance

Now my opinon is based on what experience I've had and my PC specs.
They are as follows:
CPU - AMD FX-4350
GPU - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB
RAM - 8GB DDR3
OS - Windows 7 Home Premium

Now at the time of this review, the beta patch has been released optionally and one patch has gone through that solved a problem with audio. I've not experience any gaming breaking bugs or glitches that have forced me to start a new game or made the game unplayable. I've experience a few bugs like guns or my pipboy going invisbile which were easily solved by going into third person and back into first person again. The biggest glitch was when on my second play through I couldn't sleep on a bed in a settlement without the game freezing, so I left the area then came back later and it was fine again.
The game runs relatively smoothly for me on high settings with a few ultra settings thrown in there. Only a few places such as downtown Boston and places that cause a lot of shadows to be cast cause the most frame drops.
The game looks good and does an amazing job of maintaining the retro feeling of 1950s America with advanced technology and the game looks a lot more vibrant with bright and pastel colours, and of course a barren yet beautiful looking wasteland.

Gameplay
The gameplay has vastly improved compared to the previous two games, such as the gunplay and NPC combat AI. Guns feel powerful, even the 10mm Pistol and they sound it too. Characters from enemies to frendlies both seek cover and will do their best to flank you and kill you, however they can sometimes be stupid, for example I've seen raiders try to throw molotovs at me, only for them to hit the cover they're behind and burn themselves instead.
People feel that the gunplay was focused on more and so the game is just a glorified FPS. People think this is because some of the RPG elements such as character customisation and dialogue have been ripped from the game and left bare.
Bethesda have opted for a dialogue system similar to Mass Effect which is another great game in my opinion, and this leaves Fallout's dialogue restricted to 4 choices; Yes, No, Sarcastic and another option which usually asks for more information. There's also a voiced protagonist now for both male and female characters which I quite like and think the voice acting is well done, for both the player and every other character.
The character customization has also been changed extensively, such as the possibilty now of having a fat character, or super buff or really skinny. Also hair with physics on them so they move as you do. Skills have been scrapped though so now things like speech checks are reduced to how charismatic you are, rather than how much skill you have in explosives for example. Instead of Skills, your character is now decided by your SPECIALs and perks, which only require levels and a certain amount of your SPECIAL, which if you're new to Fallout stand for different stats : Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility and Luck. Though this system is more restrictive in terms of character design, it doesn't entirely limit what kind of character you can have, you just have to look at the perk sheet to see what kind of perks you can get.

People have also complained that your character already has a lot of their information already pre made for them, for example the male is a Military veteran, Father and Husband and the female character is a Law student, Mother and Wife. Though I can see where people come from when they say it's severely limiting, Fallout has never been a fully fleged RPG where you can design every single aspect of your character, a lot of things have been pre deterimined. These arguements are mostly baseless as they're from the kind of people who want their character to either be some big breasted, dumb as a sack of screws, anime waifu piece of trash, or and edgy evil super villian who only wears black hoods called 'Shadow le deth'. You can still decide if you want your character to be the savior the wasteland deserves, someone who wants to watch the world burn (again), or somewhere in between. However there's no longer a karma system in the game so it doesn't make a whole lot of difference other than how people react to you.

A new feature they have added is the settlement builder, which allows you to create and maintain your own settlements. As cool as this is the controls can be iffy at times and it will also take a lot of your time if you really get into it. It's also thrown onto you at the start of the game, though it is optional, it doesn't make much sense for you to have the knowledge of house building straight away.

Story and World
The story's quality can be down to opinion mostly and mine is that it's great, it drew me in, kept me hooked and in some parts blew my mind but I'll not spoil the story. If you wanted to find it out you could of done, but if not I'd say it's something you've got to experience for yourself. It's linear in some areas, like the previous two games but there are still plenty of choices to make, especially towards the end of the game when it can make a major difference towards the ending. Also you CAN play after the ending unlike New Vegas and base game Fallout 3, which they could of easily made it so that was a DLC released months later.

The world has had great attention to detail kept throughout the entire Commonwealth wasteland, there's a lot of things left in the same place as they would have been when the world ended and landmarks of Boston have been recreated which try to stay true to real life and what the lore would allow. Some such landmarks include Bunker hill, Fenway Park, MIT ( Or CIT in the fallout Universe) and the USS Constitution.
There is still plenty to explore as there has been in previous games and another good thing about this game is that All of downtown Boston is free from loading screens, except for the interior locations however some buidlings you can enter without going through a loading door and these still have loot and other details in them.

Animation
Other things I was impressed by were the animations. Dogmeat (one of the possible companions) had all of his animations based on a real dog so they could create more realistic movements and actions. Another companion, Piper ( who also happens to be one of my favourites) is first shown of to be doing some very eccentric actions when you first meet her, rather than just being an idle body with a face that has only a moving mouth. This is true for pretty much every NPC you find, except maybe a few such as raiders which just sit or patrol.

Sound
The music of this game is amazing, both the game music and on the radio, however the radios can seem quite limited as there's the radio which plays popular music of the atomic era and then there's the classical radio. The sound design is especially good, as you can now here gunshots in the distance and they're different depending on what weapons are used and how far away they are, or if they're behind a building. There's also different ambient sounds depending on your location, so in an old, wooden church you can hear the creaking of the wood, or in a sewer, drops of water on water with an echo if it's in a pipe for example.

Finally, thank you if you read through all of this regardless of you agreeing with it or not. Hopefully I've convinced you to buy this amazing game, if not, each is to their own.
