I am not a fan of the tanks in this DLC. They all have 200 round belt machine guns and are essentially unstoppable.

Super fun!
Loads of campaigns, great guns, interesting factions and settings.
Co-op and singleplayer with loads of bots is tonnes of fun!

The game was supposed to release in 2022 but was put on hold due to the involvement of an investor.No More Room in Hell 1 has been around for years. But Torn Banner seem to think this game is entirely their idea.

Now, Torn Banner roles are: Creative Director (Steve "Sir Oinks A Lot" Piggott), Game Director (Leif "SS" Walter), Art Director (Pat "Tappington" Ingoldsby).
The only No More Room in Hell dev in any of the Torn Banner content is Matt "Maxx" Kazan who is listed as Narrative Lead and, likely ceremoniously, as the Mod Founder.

So then what of all the showcases and previews on No More Room in Hell's YouTube channel?
Broadway 3? Night of the Living Dead?
The players in the original showcases were just people, not supersoldiers.
All seemingly scrapped for this...

Now? The characters are unusual. They are sort of superhero supersoldier who get stronger with perks. These are no longer survivors like in classic zombie movies. They are the front line defense (and probably a great opportunity for microtransactions down the line).

Levelling up and permadeath discourage me to log-on and play the game because I now need to consider whether it is worth the risk. The game matches with a bunch of randoms, so I want to control the variables and opt to play with more competent players than 7 randoms in matchmaking. I don't want to join a lobby of noobs whose incompetence might risk my level 43 character.

The open world map is mostly uninteresting. At the start players are separated from one another but within 5 minutes there are avenues to pair up and complete objectives. The 4 groups of two (8 players per match) in the map then complete objectives, all of which involve turning valves and wiring cable boxes. Those objectives then unlock hoard rooms with guns.

Then everybody reunites at the checkpoint and activates generators in the powerplant at the middle of the map.
Then everybody extracts.

There are about 4 different quest lines which merge into the same powerplant generator and helicopter extraction objective.

After playing the game several times, there's nothing left to do. I think the map is massive but boring.

My other big concerns are the introduction of micro-transactions, and Torn Banner's influence.
Torn Banner can go wipe it.

Very fun! UI for unit and building placement could be better given the massive swarm but it's good!
