I have concerns about the consequences of accepting medical students and normalising them as colleagues. Soon admin will force us to introduce them as part of the team. Where are my protections for my personal beliefs? What the yes campaign won't tell you is that once they have eaten lunch they'll expect to then be allowed to get back to work, doing their jobs. In countries where they let Medical Students eat lunch they now have accepted team roles and play an important part of patient care. I'm not against Medical Students. I used to be one. I have a lot of love for Med Students. I just don't want them eating my lunch.
