Phone app turned PC app.
All you do is swipe cards, you die if any of your stats fills or empties, that's all there's to it.
Ofcourse it wouldn't be a Phone app without a micro transaction store... Nuf said.

More content to an already great game, not without it's fair share of bugs though, but nothing i encountered was gamebreaking enough for me to stop.
Story is decent, strings you along and then ends up messing with your mind just as much (if not moreso) then the base game already did.
Had a lot of fun with the content, but i barely used any of the relic powers, they felt a bit "tacked on" so to speak...

If you enjoyed Cyberpunk, this DLC doesn't dissapoint.

This DLC got on my nerves just 5 minutes in.... Right at the start i had to resort to taking down not 1 but 3 Mountain cats with freaking THROWING KNIFES, the game tells you about scenery you can collapse on enemies but if they aren't gonna park under it it's useless.

The Wildlife trend kept going throughout most of the DLC, couldn't get any ♥♥♥♥ done with YET another pack of wolves, Yak, a Bear, Mountain Cat or a Eagle attacking me and this was extremely frustating.

The Yeti looks really intimidating at first, but you will notice real quick what works and what doesn't and if you don't kill it quickly or cheese them, you're dead.

The "Defend the station" stuff got old after the 2nd mission, the AI is dumb as bricks and it's just a chore to get through.

Some of the missions are fun, but most are of the "go there, Kill baddies, Collect item(s), Go home" variety, except the mission with the Bomb maker which had to be safed, was fun stealthing to him but DAMN he kept reminding me every minute that he wouldn't progress until i shot the badguys, i don't know about you all, but i find that super annoying and it made me wanna shoot the guy in the face.

That bundled with the fact we barely get to see any other person except for the occasional trader is just stupid.

After messing around with Brighter shores for a bit i can definitely say this game is not gonna be my cup of tea,
I know i prolly should not compare it to Runescape, but since the creator is the conciever of Runescape it's hard not to.

Compared to Runescape it has a few things that it does really well,

The stories, quests etc are nice and goofy conversation-wise, like they are in runescape which is enjoyable to experience.
The game also has a lot of content, even for freemiums, with more content behind the (not so high) subscription fee (€75/year)
But sadly enough this is one of the few positive things i can actually say at the game in it's current state (it's still Early access, so let's HOPE a bunch of these things get adressed)

What i liked most about Runescape is that when your skills got higher, you eventually hard to go to other locations for new materials, also meeting new NPC's, Enemies and Locations along the way.
Depending on how much exp you earned you were stuck on the same location with the same enemies or materials for a while, but you'd work towards that level so you could go to a new location.

Brighter shores does this similarly, but instead of 99 being your level cap, you can go as high as level 500, this would be fine if the gameplay loop wasn't so short.
Enemies etc do not stay the same level, as you progress your skills they "evolve/upgrade" to higher levels, this means that instead of constantly going to a new area in an episode, you end up Rehashing the same locations OVER and OVER again, resulting in a really short and boring gameplay loop.
If this was over the course of a 100ish levels it would be less of an issue, but some enemies or items return on your list as soon as 20 levels into a skill.
Common Thiefs in hopeport for example, start out at lvl 8 and turn into lvl 22 Scruffy Thiefs after you reach lvl 14 Guard.

This bundled with the fact that as soon as you reach level 20 in any skill, the amount of EXP you need to level up SKYROCKETS, i got all 5 skills in Hopeport to lvl 20 pretty easily, but the moment i aimed for higher, i had to put my grinding pants on and with the level cap being 500 per skill, this will become a big problem in conjunction with the aforementioned flaw.
Forager for example: Before i got to 20 i needed 2-3 inventories of items to level up at most, it took me 10+ inventories AND putting Knowledge points into EXP boosts to from lvl 22 to 23 and to me this is kind of insane.

The Combat i actually enjoyed but also has it's issues
What i liked most about the combat i've seen (lvl 26 Guard, lvl 16 Scout atm) is the fact that you can equip 3 weapon types (1-handed + Shield, 2-handed & Ranged) and switch between them on the fly in combat.
The only meh point for me was the limited amount of ammo on ranged, but with the way combat works at current i didn't really see the benefit of ranged much.

But like a lot of other things in this game, the combat also has it's issues i encountered.

I've spend a few hours on the level 22 Thiefs in hopeport, my gear was kinda meh, ~8-14 greens and blues, apart from my 2h weapon which was of Epic quality
Over the course of 4 levels and an hour of grinding i got several blues, rares and an epic gear piece, all my stats went up (all numbers green) YET the same lvl 22 thiefs (They didn't "level up yet"), managed to actually defeat me, not ONCE but TWICE after all these upgrades and this makes NO damn sense to me.

Combat should get easier with better gear, NOT harder. I felt like i was getting punished for grinding the same enemies for gear upgrades.

The game works with Episodes, a thing i can understand, but at the same time i am not fully on board with.
Each episode comes with it's own set of skills, some of which are just the same stuff with a different name.
Hopeport calls it Guard, The next episode calls it Scout, but you still do the same stuff... It's like UK Tomato vs. US Tomato (or lever, or potato etc)

But hey! At least it isn't Pay to win, but a large portion of content is (like runescape) locked behind the subscription fee. (and no, i have no issues with this, i've played Runescape member for 7 years.)

TL:DR list:
+ Lots of content even for freemiums. With more content behind subscription fee, but this is understandable.
+ Stories/Quests with the same tone as Runescape, goofy, funny, enjoyable.
+ You can switch between 3 different weapons during Combat
- This game is even more Grindy then Runescape is.
- EXP requirements SPIKE after level 20.
- The Gameplay loop is way too short and repetitive.
- Getting better gear feel useless.
- Game tries to make you think it's bigger then it actually is.

"I was expecting this DLC to be more expensive, does that say enough?"

The price they ask for Brotato is chumpchange for how much hours you can get out of this game, it's not a Triple-A title, but it doesn't have to be. The DLC, just like the base game has a fun and "simple" gameplay loop that is either addicting to you or will bore you really fast (i'm not bored yet, just saying)

That said: Why are people whining (and downrating) that the DLC is "too hard", i have no issues, git gud! :p
