Hilarious coop fun. Even my non gamer girlfried found it entertaining and didn't have too much trouble getting into the controls. Would recommend!

Probably one of the best if not the best installment in the Total War Series! Due to the fantasy setting, many of the units are unique instead of the same old same old reskins you get in the historc settings.

UPDATED REVIEW: After the last couple updates on the experimental build as well as Nvidia driver updates the game runs fairly smooth. Even though a lot of the promised features are missing, the game in its current state is "enough" for me. It is very grindy but I like walking around and exploring. The vistas in this game and backdrops of planets are gorgeous. Always land on moons. They have the pretties backgrounds.

Most of my people froze or starved to death while the woodcutter killed himself with his axe, the gatherer ate poisonous berries and the doctor administered himself the wrong medicine and, of course, died.

10/10, would buy again.

Fantastic game! Played it the last couple hours and I am very happy that I backed this project when it was on kickstarter. The characters are beautifully drawn and the story keeps me on the edge of my seat. The alternation between two caravans keeps you in suspense. It is, however, very likely that you completely forget about the other caravan because you are kept busy by the game not to kill everyone off.

You can definitely see that former Bioware staff is behind this game. If you liked Dragon Age and Mass Effect you should get this game. The fighting is comparable to XCOM: Enemy unknown.

I've known about the game for quite some time but never actually understood why so many people liked it. I had heard that it was super hard and you had to play certain passages over and over again. Put that way, it does not sound fun. When I saw it in the Sale I said "♥♥♥♥ it" and bought it for 6 bucks and boy, I got my 6 bucks of joy. This game is super addictive. Although you die to no end, you learn and grow as a gamer. I've always perceived myself as somebody who is good at videogames, but this one put my skills to the test. And once you beat that one boss after dying 20 times it is SUPER rewarding.

Just the poor PC port is something that really bothers me but once I installed a couple fixes and the HD textures, the game is even more enjoyable. Do buy this if you have a couple of dollars left.
