As we all know silksong started as dlc for the hollow knight and then dev decided to make it into fully pledged game. At the time of writing review I didn’t completed game yet but surely could say that they achieved that goal.
Though the game have same format and similar art style, gameplay as a hornet feels completely different: she have new fully pledged moveset, build system as well as unique bosses and enemies. You can feel yourself as mercenary that mills her way to the citadel throughout alive and hazardous Pharloom as compared to the hollow knight where you play as silent shy bug that happens to be in the zombie crisis.
Speaking of the moveset - the hero gained new abilities to explore the world and devs designed areas just right so soon after few hour of gameplay I’ve discovered myself at the “one more bench and I’m out” loop. Areas are beautiful and unique and true gem of it is marvelous soundtrack and little fx effects that completes immersion.
Of course game have it flaws: there are still hidden areas in the game and they are well.. hidden so you obligated to punch every wall that you see.

I could recommend this game.

Boring template
I really enjoyed splitgate 1 and it was a pleasure to play the game. But personally I don't like format in which the series is heading. Its standard e-sport like fps where game is stylized as cool esport. When you start the game you are greeted with your character standing on the pedestal and 3 more places for your friends and information about your battle pass and achievements. You can queue for the match where you and 3 other random folks would play against 4 other random persons.
Then after one round you get interrupted and allowed to play again. Then after best of 5 you got interrupted even more to show your numbers and match score and then you are waiting in queue for the next game (in fact I'm writing this while I wait for the match). The situation is similar in 24 team deatchmatch mode. If you wanted to exit - the game would suggest you not to. And this is getting boring. Why can't I play without interruptions, why should I care about stats in "casual" mode, where is teambag confirmed gamemode?
Splitgate on itself have a great base - gunplay feels great, portals add great in depth and strategy to the gameplay but for me personally esportification of the game make it boring and unnecessary time consuming.

I rolled back the game to the patch before gearbox ruined the game, it worked but now it ask me to accept eula, which I would not do and download the "patch" against it on different site instead.

Here is my hard read on what would happen to cs2: game would be putted on hold, which mean no new operations, no old maps, no gamemodes. But it would feature regular cases, tournaments, maybe bot banwaves sometimes, if community demands it

Want to know how much you could get from the game?
Well lets talk about how much devs are made. I parsed steam community market (78 in game items at the time of writing review) and calculated revenue by multiplying median price at the time by number of items sold for each item. I did it in russian currency because minimal russia price of 0.03 rubles is much lower than 0.03 usd (0.000336 usd converted)

At the end I got a total of 361339$ accumulated price for the market sales. For each transaction developers are getting 10% aka 36133$ in total. Even if you assume that developers bought most of the items with their money - the payout is decent for the amount of work you putted in (boilerplate game, artwork "borrowed" from the discord members). Ah also about that, discord server is counting about 60k people which is useful by itself.

Its really unique game. Usually you are starting a game as nothing and at the could kill god but in this game you are as powerless as it gets and you could do little with it. This game doesn't have quick switch keys, you have small inventory, standard flashlight is dim, half of enemies couldn't be killed and list goes on. Lethal company make you feel weak and this is great for the horror game.
Also game features proximity voice chat which raises the tension when you are playing with other gamers and makes unlimited potential of generating funny scenes with your friends and you as actors. Game manages to create purely comedic situations in horror setting. This balance of situational comedy and horror is brilliantly balanced.

Talking about negative: for now game have only two interiors and variety between moons achieved by using different chances of spawning monsters. And late games seems like going to the same moon over and over again, which is not enjoyable.
