Overall;
Absolutely love the game!!! Quests are amazing and unique. Dialogue is superb. Music is wonderful and grand, and finally the combat is just mind blowing.

In-depth;
As a long time fan of the prequel I have been waiting for this release and I look forward to the actual DLC's that come out in the future. To start off, my opinions on the problems circulating around the game are as follows,

Micro-Transactions; While the transactions are there they are NOT useful. Everything aside from the legacy music is achievable in game just by playing. Like many others I view these transactions in a negative light. I was relieved when I actually started my game and realized that nothing offered by the micro-transactions was locked. In fact this game is easier in regards to finding wake stones and portcrystals than the prequel. If you're the person who can afford these and desire to do so then by all means my recommendation is buy the Rift Crystals as earning them can be a slow process and there are items that you can only buy in game with RC. If you are someone who despises transactions like I do, then keep your money as there is not a single piece of in-game content that will be unavailable to you. In my case if you are wondering I purchased the Deluxe pre order because as stated above im a long time fan i wanted to support the developers so it came with a few things.

Performance; I have a pretty powerful PC so i have not experienced frequent crashes or performance issues so for those that are you have my sympathy best of luck to you.

Monster Variety; This game is massive in regards to places to go and things to do so I understand that seeing goblins, harpies, and saurians at every turn can be redundant. However, the original game was one in the same and once Dark arisen was released it brought a variety of new enemies. Without spoiling the game for those who've yet to reach it, the true ending brings out a lot more large scale monster fights.

In conclusion I wholeheartedly love this game. I have faith that the development team will continue to polish and add to this game. It has my full support and I look forward to playing it for a long time just as I did the first game. A recommendation to the new players: the game is designed to be beaten over and over with new game+ so it's okay to stumble through the quests and get some wrong vs looking up all the walkthroughs and speed running it all. Once you clear the game you can redo your journey to experience different avenues of story or make choices you didn't at the start and best news you keep all your items and abilities.
