This game claims to be a full release, but is in a state equal to most game's early beta in quality. There are many gameplay issues with the AI and core game mechanics. This game is only playable for PVP and completely unplayable solo. Combine this with the other reviews citing PVP matchmaking issues and this game is not worth the time or money.

Specific examples:
  • I've had multiple scout units not spot standard infantry units that walked up to them and killed them.
  • AI have perfect vision of player units, making any gameplay against AI incredibly unbalanced.
  • AI will airstrike units in the way back that they have no way to spot.
  • AI anti air units have infinite ammo and perfect accuracy.
  • AI have no APM (actions per minute) limit and can outperform 3+ human players on the easiest difficulty when they're on their own.

    There's some great potential for this game but as it stands I cannot justify more than $20 for this if it was in early access.

After playing 4.6 hours of this game, I have grown tired of it. Though the early experience wasn't stunning, it was fun while new enemy types continued to be introduced. However, this falls appart toward the end-game enemies. Several of the normal end-game enemies are simply faster than you are with attacks that can't be interupted likes your attacks, and there are multiple of them so you don't really have any time inbetween attack combos to hit them. Also towards the end of the game, the same groups of enemies get thrown at you in almost identical patterns rather than varying from one encounter to the next. For example, I would rather fight two mini-bosses at once sometimes rather than fight two in a row in five seperate encounters.

Then there is the final boss. The final boss appeared interesting but has many flaws and felt uninspired in terms of mechanics. It also has several issues such as causing damage instances in its pre-burrowing position while unburrowing as well as being able to pop up underneath you and instantly killing you. As there are no checkpoints, this will end your run of the last level imediately if you are attempting to play single-player. Also, as you progress through the battle, there is an add that continually spawns, presumably to prevent players from beting the boss by saying in the edge of the room and shooting the boss to death. I would rather the boss be improved so that this add does not need to be spawned than to let this add to remain. A simple volley of ranged attacks for the boss that is fired every 15-25 seconds at the player(s) could replace this add entirely, and would feel a lot less lazy.

I liked the game to begin with and I would love to come back to enjoy the game further but at least some of these issues need to be fixed before I will be able to enjoy the game again.
