Great game. Though the main point of the game is ostensibly to see some big ol' butts and boobs, it's really a fun, isometric action game. It can be a little frustrating at times, like all isometric games, the camera can be disorientating, but it's still a very entertaining journey through several distinct environments, with a whole slew of cute girls that you let hit you to look at them, and monsters you mercilessly demolish without a second glance. There's enough here to keep you occupied for a few hours, maybe more if you decide to find everything. There are times when the game really is punishing, though, and not always in a fair way. There's more than a few enemies who stunlock you, there's a few that grab you, and continuously damage you as you desperately try to mash out, only to realize that you can't mash out of grabs. There's points of frustration, it's not perfect. However, this game is still really fun, and I enjoyed it beyond the cute girls and butts. Give it a go if it's on sale, or just buy it outright if you think it caters especially to your tastes.

Absolutely the best UBERMOSH, without a doubt in my mind. SANTICIDE, directly succeeding this one, comes close, but I personally just can't get enough of Vol. 5. If you have even a little bit of skill in any other UBERMOSH game, this one is a must. It's basically the only one I've really come back to after getting all of the achievements, it's great. The double action is the best, you mow down the hordes with your gun, and even somewhat mistimed slashes still manage to tear them to shreds, and scatter their bullets back unto them effortlessly. The shielded enemies are a bit of a pain, but you can just shy away from them just a bit, wait for their shield to drop, and slaughter them just the same. The swarm returns, but even it catching you off-guard completely isn't likely to stop your holy rampage, just a few errant swings and shots will dispel the vicious cloud. This game, out of the entire UBERMOSH epic, truly makes you feel like a Blade Saint, the only thing that comes close is within the next game, but that's conditional.

Easily the best UBERMOSH for first-timers. It's hectic, but not as crazy as later games are, it's difficult, but even on Hardboiled, the enemies are sparse enough for anybody to at least give it a good go. Brainclap helps a lot, where if you got surrounded in the first two games, you had to fight your way out with just your weapons, now you can turn the fact that you're surrounded by your enemies onto them. In vol. 3, there's not yet many options outside of class mods, giving newcomers room to make one simple decision, compared to older games that have a few options for customizing your build, though admittedly not much, even with the most complex one. However, there's also no walls, a design misstep in the early games of this series, which were thankfully completely done away with in this one, and never appeared again. Within the wide, open plains, with no borders nor walls, there's no limit to the violence you can inflict, outside of the limits of your skill, and of course of the timer. But you'd better be prepared for what awaits you still...

A good game to jump into UBERMOSH, though vol. 5 is probably better. Overall fun, and not as hectic as Omega. The most fun character is definitely Wanderer T667, basically the gunner class mod, but with a fun tentacle attack. I love to just whip it out, even if it's not the best option. It just fires out like BLAGLARGLARGLARGLARGLARG, it's sweet. ♥♥♥♥ Wook though.

It's fun, a nice game. The first boss so far is very fun, several ways to beat her as well. There's puzzles, things to find, multiple ways to use various items, it feels very open ended. Can't wait for the second level.

Good game, don't play if you've got ptsd or have at least one freckle.
