Review: Enlisted – From Hopeful Shooter to Frustration Simulator
Score: 2 / 10

Short Verdict: The beginning blinds you with potential, but after a few rounds, the game completely pulls the rug out from under your feet.

The Core Issues:
The "Rug Pull" Effect: The first few rounds feel great; you win and think you’ve found a new hit. But as soon as the "honeymoon phase" is over, reality hits: you get slaughtered. The balancing feels like a bad joke.

Pay-to-Win from Hell: If you don’t invest money, you are nothing but cannon fodder for the paying customers. It is incredibly frustrating to realize that skill is secondary as long as the opponent has a better credit card.

AI Stupidity: The advertised "massive battles" turn out to be a chaotic mess featuring AI that is dumber than a bag of rocks. Your own squad members run like headless chickens directly into the line of fire or clip through walls, leading to ridiculous deaths. You die, switch to the next soldier, and immediately see the next death screen because the AI doesn't understand the concept of cover.

Cheaters or God-Bots? It is often impossible to tell if you were taken out by a cheater or a perfectly snapping bot via an instant headshot. Any sense of fair play or fun goes out the window instantly.

Zero Teamplay: If you aren’t playing with your own pre-made community, you’re stranded. You mostly end up with people scattered aimlessly across the map. A real sense of teamwork never develops, which only increases the frustration of every loss.

Conclusion:
Enlisted promises epic battles but delivers a miserable experience that leaves players frustrated after just a few hours. For casual players without deep pockets, this is a hard pass. Stay away!

Verdict: This is the expansion fans have been waiting for.

After the experimental and somewhat divisive previous DLC, Enchantment Under the Sea successfully returns to the core strengths of Atomic Heart while introducing a breathtaking new setting. It feels like the developers finally found their rhythm, delivering a polished and emotionally resonant experience.

Key Highlights:

Atmospheric Masterpiece: The underwater setting is stunningly beautiful and provides a fresh, immersive atmosphere that sets it apart from the base game. It’s a "breath of fresh air" beneath the waves.

Top-Tier Combat: The expansion features some of the best boss fights in the entire franchise. The encounters are polished, challenging, and visually spectacular, supported by a soundtrack that keeps the adrenaline pumping.

Narrative Growth: Unlike the campaign’s sometimes scattered plot, the story here is focused and easy to follow. The character development—especially regarding P-3 and Katya—is handled with a maturity that adds genuine emotional weight to the journey.

Technical Polish: The gameplay loop feels refined and largely bug-free. New enemies and weapons keep the combat loop from feeling stale, ensuring the shorter playtime is packed with high-quality content.

Conclusion:
If the last DLC pushed you away, this one will pull you back in. It’s a rewarding continuation of the story that sets high stakes for the grand finale. Whether it's for the scenery, the intense combat, or the emotional resolution, this expansion is a must-play.

P.S.: Just a fair warning—the soundtrack is so dangerously catchy that I still have that underwater theme playing on a loop in my head. It’s a total earworm that’ll haunt you long after you’ve turned off the PC!

Review: A Sweet-Coated Nightmare
Rating: 2/10
Recommendation: Watch the story on YouTube and save your money.

If you enjoyed the core gameplay of Atomic Heart, prepare to be disappointed. This DLC is a jarring departure from everything that made the base game good, trading tense combat and atmosphere for what feels like a low-budget mobile game.

The Issues:

Gameplay Identity Crisis: It’s essentially "Subway Surfers" or CS:GO surfing mixed with a "Temple Run" clone. The mechanics are boring, repetitive, and feel entirely out of place in the Atomic Heart universe.

Visual Fatigue: The Limbo aesthetic is polarizing at best and nauseating at worst. It’s a literal fever dream that wears out its welcome within the first ten minutes.

Zero Substance: The story is paper-thin and barely progresses the lore. Any relevant plot points could be summarized in a two-minute flashback or a quick Wiki read.

Technical Frustration: Between bugged dialogue and clunky platforming, the experience is more frustrating than challenging. It feels like the "DIMA" memory puzzles from Fallout 4 stretched out into an entire expansion.

Verdict:

This is a textbook example of a bad DLC. It doesn't respect the player's time or the game’s established theme. Unless you have a specific craving for overpriced candy-colored parkour, do not waste your time. Burn your money instead—at least that provides warmth.
