A game I find myself coming back to.

This is one of the oldest games in my steam library. There's a certain cathartic charm that The Long Dark brings. I already love snowy tundra, and the focus on survival here really sets it apart from other games with survival/craft mechanics.

I LIKE the fact that I can't "craft my own base."

For so long, I've wanted a game that focuses on the actual difficulty of survival. Not every day am I trying to thrive, or am able to with The Long Dark. It gives it an immersion level that can't really be seen in most survival games on the market.

If you want to SURVIVE, TLD is for you! Give it a shot, maybe it is for you! For me, it took may years of coming back over, and over again to find my love for this game. Having a cozy fire during the winter season really brings out the brilliance of The Long Dark experience. One of the last developers that haven't disappointed me, despite comparatively "slow" updates. This is a feature rich game I cannot recommend enough.

I was a backer on Kickstarter and I have played the fan translation.

The anime had brought me to the game in the beginning. For how poorly adapted the anime was compared to this behemoth of a game (For me, I have easily surpassed 60 hours for all main routes), it's setting and characters made me curious. I googled the game and found a sketchy site with the fan TL (note there was no way for me to legally play this game in English so yes I did pirate it) and downloaded it.

The music was the first thing I instantly recognized. The anime whilst not being an accurate adaptation still had some of the best music I had heard in quite a while. It's a hood certified banger. But the music only adds setting and motifs, the story is the context of it all.

Tennouji Koutarou, a not-so-generic mc with a bit of a playful sarcastic side, goes about his days peacefully. He goes to school, and somehow ends up in a clique of pretty much all girls (Sakuya is the only saving grace, sadly he's kinda an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the beginning routes). Sounds pretty generic at the first glance, which is what lulls you in. You are given the image of a normal highschool boy and his paranormal investigation buddies getting together to solve mysteries of an occult nature. Cute, sometimes funny situations arise on a frequent basis. What Key does so here is veils a rose-tinted perspective to the audience, but with an uncanny reality. They disperse small but noticeable amount of clues within the story, and each event of those gradually reveals the true view of the world.

I won't go into any major spoilers, but not everything is as it seems in Kazamatsuri. I would definitely give it a shot.

It's one of those games I've had for a while that I still keep coming back to after all these years. It's an excellently crafted Rougelike with death at every turn. But the fun comes with learning and effectively using the game's mechanics to your advantage!

Also I can't beat the game without playing ninja. I just can't.

You can legit search for most any anime/anime girl from actual series, download an image to Steam\steamapps\common\Koikatsu Party\UserData\chara\female and have it pretty much in your game.
