How did I get nearly 140 hours out of this game, 14 year old me was on some ♥♥♥♥ man idk

I don't think any demo for a game has ever made me this excited for the full release of a game.

poorly unoptimized trash. Every quest is a fetch quest where someone tells me their sob story that I don't care about yet every character with a side quest expects me to help them out because the game's main story is so boring you gotta stay distracted somehow. The writing is at best sub par and every character is annoying as all hell. At least the combat is kind of okay? I guess? It's extremely simple color matching plus sometimes I hit the protect button and get a free stun with a parry window wide enough to be JK Rowling's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

In short, it's not fun

Have you ever played Balatro and thought, "Yeah, this is cool, but I wish I could gamble MORE" ? This is the game for you, my friend. Never before have I so often verbally said out loud, "I LOVE THE SLOTS" before hitting the button that would decide whether or not I win or lose a run. Truly, this is the game for REAL gamblers.

Always remember that 90% of gamblers give up right before their big break. Take risks. Always bet on black. make the whole board black. Black out with house edge. I'd spend time making sure this review is funny but I hear Bingle Bingle calling my name. It's time to rise and grind.

Faithful recreation of the original

Everything's just as I remembered it-but better. The cutscenes are better, the guns are more fun, and the story feels more polished. Also, boss battles! The boss battles are really just okay tbh, but I don't really expect much from SFH boss battles, considering there's really only so much you can do. The protection missions are okay, but it's a good thing there's only 2 of them, otherwise they'd get stale pretty fast.

The one problem I have is when missions have the "teabag 10 opponents you've killed" bonus mission, because the tracking for those bonus missions are super inconsistent, and you tend to push the bodies away as you attempt to teabag them. Speaking of bonus missions, there just aren't a lot of variety to them unfortunately :(

that being said this game is still great, and way better than the original.

It's literally impossible to dislike this game. It's absolutely amazing. There are no words, nor a single video, that can do this masterpiece justice. It's not incredibly easy at first, but once you get the hang of it, there's no other FPS that can compare
