It has been only a few hours since I was told of your passing and it has troubled me to no end. I have cried for you again and again, and I am sure the days to come will bring only more tears.

In these recent months our chances to speak to one another only grew smaller and smaller, but I cherished each and every one as I do with all of my friends. I wish there had been more, more chances to speak with you. More chances to laugh, play, tell jokes, and enjoy life. And I wish, more than all of those things, that I would have noticed your pain, so that I could have done more to take it away...

I will never know of the demons you struggled with, or of the dark thoughts that ailed you in those final moments. I can only hope that, in the end, you found peace for yourself, so that the friends and family you've left behind in life can find it as well.

Goodbye my friend, may you rest in peace.
