No reason to play it unless you're playing it with your friends or just want to bhop or surf or do some other things on community servers.

You can't play it as it meant to be if you just want to be casual since there isn't a 5v5 unranked mode with competitive rules and Casual is just a 10v10 clownfiesta.

There is not that many updates that adds new stuff because Valve's CS team is small and because of it, it gets repetitive after some time.

E-Sports scene gets boring after some time (It was 1-1.5 years for me) because there are just too many tournaments.

Of course it's a great game if you're a competitive person but I wouldn't recommend it.

Literally the best Ubisoft game. They managed the save this game from dying and made it actually good.
