my go to game when i have nothing to do
cant wait till the full game is out
hope it'll have online pvp since it's oft more fun to brake stuff than build it
1 experiment with the physics
2 build something derpy
3 refine the concept
4 show your friends
5 endless fun

at no point did it specify you'd need a controller to play

no tutorial
just play eve online instead
basically the same game

quite a short game, it looks very pretty, i just wish there was more of it
the story is about as basic as it gets, something you'd find in a 10 page childrens book, tho i'd play more of it if there were any
the jumping is a little awkward at first and you'll have to do alot of mid air adjustments
there is more variation in puzzles than there are levels, and no mechanic gets used more than once
it could've used more levels
the far off ledges and cenery can all be walked on and thus invite exploration, which will lead to your death
the levels could be walled off a bit better, or somehow better explain where you are supposed to not go (either that or hide more secrets)
the combat was the weakest part of the game, i didnt die to an enemy once and mb1 was completely useless when compared to the further reaching AND faster damaging secondary attack, the rolling animation only throws you backwards into the unknown, where it could've been made more dark soulsy by allowing the player to choose the direction
i also wish you could change the audio to japanese
all that said, it was a good way to waste some hours
it has little replay value tho so i'd only recommend it if it's on sale
whoever made this shows alot of promise tho and i wish there was a sequel, as it is in many ways so close to being amazing

i love the setting, aesthetics and the harsh difficulty
but everything about this game makes me just wish i was playing a sequel (that at this time doesnt exist)
AI is stupid, trading is basic, you cant find plants or animals to cultivate on your own, there arent enough buildings
all the achievements imply that the game wants you to get a population in the thousands
but there isnt enough game here to warrant such dedication
especially since the people start randomly dying at 200 pop every time (bug as far as i know)
if this game had politics, different ages/things you can research or literally any plot/end goal at all i'd love it
but as i said
cant wait for a sequel

i feel as though playing this game is much akin to arguing with people on the internet
you weave all manner of points together to create something cohesive that flows well, sometimes the process gets too annoying and you save a problem for later, you roll all these ideas around in your head and plan your move.
this might be the most autistic game i've ever played but that is not necessarily a bad thing
it's definately not a game you can just rush through in a single evening lest you're some manner of savant
