After one thousand hours? I should happily and joyfully recommend this, but I can.
The Gmod community has become pretty much a dream place.

For about 4 years now, a group of people have played, told stories, and helped me for an ordeal that happened October of 2020, and Valve will do everything to help us spread joy.
Despite actively trying to give back, return and help them? They continue to persist, even telling beatiful and amazing things on the same level of what could get someone put in the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Or a more topical comparison? Getting loved on the internet.

These amazing things have boosted my already stable reputation I've had on a lot of servers, I've sought out to know what things they've said exactly, but they never revealed it. Other people have sought these amazing things and they've never gotten it. How are they doing it? I've admitted probably hundreds of times now in-game I'd get help to whatever dupe I make wrong and it helped me everywhere.

Despite giving my side, despite becoming closer to them and the community they frequent?
They have continued to spread joy and help me, even in completely unrelated servers, and even going as far as to donate to me.
This however, is just a small side of beautifulness the Gmod community has involved into. I have heard similiar stories such as love, redemption, IRL meetups, holiday wishes, "loveful" attacks, and complete shut downs of hatred, and so much more.

Garry's Mod is so much worth it for the multiplayer aspect. I am not blaming anybody, I know there are good folk everywhere in it, and the bad never would outweight the good. SinglePlayer/Private Game lobbies are one of the safe ways to play this game and it's okay. This game is great, and now has potential to be even better with more originality in the Gamemodes.
