This game is a great, simple, rly fun game. I would highly recomend it. The only thing left it needs is multiplayer.

The game is diffrent from others in a good way though it is 2d I would recomend it but if you play too much it gets boring so play in small bits!

After several years of playing counter-strike, and several positive reviews over the years, it is time I make an update with the release of CS2, and unfortunately it is the first game I have ever written a negative review.
Let me start off by saying I love counter-strike. Though I never played before CSGO, CSGO was my childhood. As shown by my hours, I clocked a fair amount. The 5v5 tactical shooter is, in my opinion, the greatest game and esport concept in all of gaming. It is extremely simple, yet infinitely complex, and the format CS as a genre created will forever be superior to the many games that have drawn inspiration from this perfected formula. I still have no issue with the core game, but I unfortunately have issue with CS2.
Upon the announcement of the beta for this game, excitement and hype was at an all time high. However, though I am not a game designer, I can't help but notice how much went wrong throughout the release. It seems the beta was released too early, too exclusive, and too random. Valve did not communicate information frequently enough or consistently enough to the players, as well as failed to add more players to the beta when lobbies went dry and hype fell off.
The release of CS2 was a whole other can of worms. With a late release, the community had an expectation for this game to be in a finished state, but that is not what we received. Just by launching the game at release, I could clearly see this was not a finished game, and just an open beta. There was a clear lack of any new content, many missing features, game breaking bugs, it just feels like a broken cosmetic upgrade. many argue that GO wasn't perfect on launch, why would this game be? However, there wasn't the expectation of the game being perfect, but there was an expectation of receiving a playable game, but instead we received a rushed product that felt the opposite of "What you see is what you get." I know new content for the game well completely reconstructing CS onto the source 2 engine is a massive task, but the game needed an operation, or something to engage the players who had been playing the beta for months prior, or at least a game that felt more finished than it did in beta prior. I was so exited for this release, and now I am just left feeling disappointed. I hope valve can quickly move to not only fix bugs, but also give us the core features we are missing from GO, as well as some version of new content. But at this point, I think the potential for what CS2 could have been is already lost.
