This is a good example of why many games don't have mod support. Somebody out there is probably making something that you plan on making professionally, but you're going to charge people for it. Why would i pay for something that is almost (stressing the 'almost') the exact same as a mod that I could get for FREE? (this goes for other workshop DLC out there.) If consoles didn't get mods then of course they would buy it, they're hungry for anything they can get. However, with mod support, it still creates this problem. The ONLY reason I got it was for other mod support. Five whole dollars just so I could use a few mods. It was worth it to me, but can you say the same?

Honestly, there's not much to say about Battleborn. It's a mix between a MOBA and an FPS... kinda. It has the kind of character leveling system, minion system, and gamemode system as a MOBA like Dota, but it has the feeling of playing a first person shooter, because it is one (duh). But reguardless it's not garbage, nor is it great. It's just average. Thank god it's not as bad as colonial marines, but it's not as good as borderlands. It's not the diamond in the rock, it's the silver. Good, but not exactly what you're looking for. (how many more comparisons can i make? Too many.)

It's DEFINATELY NOT like overwatch. It may have a similar art style, but it's JUST the art style. It's not a team-based compeditive shooter. It's more than that.

Want to pay over $100 in DLC? Well, then this is the game for you!!

Seriously though this game isn't terrible. It's not perfect, FAR from it. Although I can't blame Overkill or Starbreeze for that. This is one of their FEW games. It makes sense that they would have to put out TONS of paid addons in order to keep up.



What? You thought I was going to ignore the micro-transactions? Here's the main problem with payday 2...
Micro-transactions, doesn't sound like much, but when you put THAT price along with OVER $100 OF DLC AND THE PRICE OF THE GAME. It's not your payday anymore, it's their's!! I think I also remember them saying that they wouldn't put micro-transactions in? Ehh, clearly THAT was just some fake dev.

All-in-all, not a bad game. It's just taken a huge toll on it's original fanbase. It's literally crapped all over them, just feces everywhere. Again, it's not a bad game. It's just... I dont know, I don't really know what to say about it.

If you're REALLY interested and want to play it with some friends (because believe me, you will), then go for it.

Honestly, it was short but sweet. It didn't have much in the actaual gameplay aspect. It did, however, have a decent amount of end-game content. Although it was almost forgettable. Consoles; Required, PC's; Mainly if you're borred. Either way I enjoyed it while it lasted.

this is probably one of the best games i have, FPS + RPG = EPIC!!!!!!
