This game is challenging, but fair. It's simple to understand, but offers enough variety to allow for complex strategies. It is funny, and doesn't take itself too seriously. Overall a solid game.

It's like Civilization mixed with Total War mixed with Xcom. Well executed, no performance issues, lots of content. In fact if I had anything negative to say, it's that having every single tome of magic available to everyone is initially overwhelming because there is soooo much you can do, but overwhelmed with options is certainly better than underwhelmed lol. Plus, I have already played 2 games to completion in 11 hours. In total war I've played like 2 campaigns to completion after 300 hours lol.

mOBILE VERSION IS GOOD TOO

I haven't played for a while but they just keep adding more and more updates. I'm gunna try it again and it's gunna be like a whole new game with how much they added.

Good

Just like the first game, but improved in every way. I'd rather see a sequel just build upon the first than try something new that doesn't work.

A creative and unique twist on the TD genre. There may be other TD games where you play as the enemies, but this one has some in depth mechanics that differentiate it from anything I've seen, and it's balance is really good so far. Worth more than I paid for it.

Lacking some of the things that made the other stronghold games great, but it's really not bad. I feel like the biggest issue for me is the scale feels small.

Just an excellent game. Feels good to play. Fun, challenging, interesting, etc. A or S tier game for sure.
