Great drug slinging simulator. 100% worth the $2 I paid for it.

You get to hoard cocaine and sell it for millions after slaughtering countless cops and watching your hired thugs bleed out in front of you. All before subsequently hiring more meat to feed to the pigs as payment for your terrible life choices.

Shank your loanshark. Rob a bank and fill the teller full of bullets. Run from the cops. Buy low, sell high. Recieve a grenade to the chest for critcal damage. Watch as you cough up blood all over your ill-earned shoes and fall back into a sweet peaceful slumber.

I don't write many reviews, however this game is a lot of fun. It's more than worth the small sum I paid with that deep discount. It'll pay for itself no problem.

The issue is that you will get bored quick. Smuggling space weed is really fun the first like 6 times you do it. By the time you run the same mission, with the same write up, and the same basic mechanics of "fly here, dock there, collect credits", about 12 times you don't want to do anymore runs.

The combat is very similar. I was glued to this game it was so enjoyable. And quickly went into bounty hunting and tore my way thru enemies until I upgraded to a Vulture. Then I upgraded that to the exact specs I wanted. Lo and behold there isn't a single thing left for me to do that I have the slightest interest in. I can essentially dominate anyone in the game now, taking on 3 opponents at once and obliterating all of them in succession with a fat sack of credits waiting for me back at the hub tho.

I could grind combat for a month straight and maybe afford an Anaconda. Or grind in some federation brown nosing until I unlock a rank just so I can visit earth. But the problem is that I don't want to grind. I grinded ever so slightly in order to obtain the vulture. I now want to visit earth. And I'm not allowed to do so without fulfilling these ridiculous ranking and mission requirements.

That's when I realized that this game is not yet complete. They are early on in the development cycle and have a lot of stuff they are slowly adding to the game. The horizons thing looks great, and honestly the combat is a lot of fun. I'll def come back to it a little later on I'm sure.

I'd highly recommend this game for anyone who would like to experience a space fighter simulation done reasonably well. Also, Oculus Rift and a few more expansions and this game may be polished into an absolute gem.
