I don't think I can recommend this enough! This game is truly exceptional despite not being my normal type of game and the first time I loaded it up I ended up playing for over 8 hours! Case and point this is addictive, I am struggling to return because I do not want it to engulf my social life completely.... yet.

The reason the modding scene is dead in the water isnt even the fault of Rockstar which is ashame. I hope nobody wastes their hard earned money on this as the modding scene with Open IV was harmless and only affecting single player. Take Two has made a paranoid decisiom purely to try and maximise profit from GTA Online, and I for one wont be returning to this game unless the decision is reversed. (Or if Rockstar can help come up with a solution as they have no issue with modding)

It's hard to put into words what it is I love about this game, it really is. Just the entirety of the experience is a complete joy for me and the constant development and additions that Psyonix keep rolling out is brilliant. Considering they pay a lot of attention to the community feedback, this greatly helps the relationship between the community and themselves.

But above all else the thing that I think makes this game stand out is that the controls are generally exceptional. You can manipulate your car in just about any way possible to hit the ball in so many different ways. On the face of it it is an incredibly simple game but the scary bit is the game is not even close to having its skill ceiling hit.... Thoroughly recommend.

Arguably one of the greatest games I've ever played. Not particularly complex but tremendously engaging and educational. Add in the wonderful blend of characters and a story that shows the true horrors of war which (at least I feel) has been lost in the industry. A must play for all.

Absolutely brilliant game although a lot of people rage quit even though mediums are alive etc... can be a real pain.
