It very much feels like the kind of thing where the overarching 'goal' becomes very secondary to the people you meet and things you do along the way. Very much nails the feeling of meeting interesting people as you travel along, wishing them well and hoping you'll see them again.

Its a big buggy mess, and every gun is useless unless its an ak47 or ar15. Bought it to play with friends, but it doesnt redeem the fact ive had more bugs in this game than I have actual gameplay.

Let me show you something. 7 individual bugs for my 7 hours of playing.

-game sticks on killcam, no ui shows up, no way to exit. have to alt-tab out and close (happened about 6 times)
-game sticks in main menu. ui dissapears. have to alt-tab and close (happened three times)
-cursor dissapears in main menu. have to alt tab and close. (about 3 times)
-ui breaks and displays broken text. have to alt-tab and close. (only twice!)
-weapon unusable because of lag spike. have to run because game decided I can't shoot. (oooh, the only one time glitch!)
-parachute dissapears. have to watch myself plummet to the ground while everyone else glides above me. (three times, really?)
-enter qeue for 5 man teams. get sent in solo, says i died in the gas as I touched the ground. (2 time 2 time)
