it's better than hunt down the freeman.
Although it is more of a demo, or just a storyless map than an actual full on mod. Not something I would see being in steam.
But its worth a play if you enjoy custom half life 2 maps.

I was expecting something similar to Neon Drive. But this isn't really a game. It's more of a graphical demo with a barely mastered driving system put into it. The only thing that changes to engage the player is the helicopter and that makes next to no difference.

Amazing game. 10/10, 100/100 even. Best game. Better than Half-Life, Half-Life 2 and Black Mesa combined. Metacritic must play, even if you don't play games, play this immediately. It will literally change your life, it's that good.

The game itself is pretty crappy if you plan on playing it by yourself, and even with friends its not the best experience? But if you just want a solid horror experience with your friends set in a dark spooky forest and has decent music that ramps up as you progress, its good.

Its even better for people like me who like it just because we had it on Xbox 360 back in the good ol days, so the game is mostly a nostalgia thing

Really fun game, however could use many improvements such as:
-Containment door seperating the 2 halfs of the outside area should be permanantly closed for the first 2-3 minutes of the game, this is so MTF are forced to enter through Gate B and if Chaos spawn in, they will not be able to interact with MTF outside
-More detail needs to be added to make it feel more like Site-19, for instance more variety of rooms in each of the 3 areas, more detail in existing areas. Many parts from containment breach such as the Light Containment storage rooms are missing
-Some sort of Feedback when you are shot or take damage, maybe a small sound or something as currently apart from your health going down there is no way to tell you are being shot and it feels very unnatural
-More general balancing issues need to be adressed to balance the game out more, most games D class and scientists die at the start of the game leaving just the SCPS and MTF/chaos for the majority of the game, it shouldn't be like this and average should be around half of the D class escaping and maybe the scientists
-The stairs at the Entrance Zone to Heavy Containment checkpoint should be re-added as Heavy Containment being on the same plane as Entance zone feels unnatural, Heavy containment should be deeper underground than entrance zone.
-since SCP-079's chamber is located in heavy containment now, the aesthetic of it should be changed to fit the Heavy containment aesthetic. The walls should be dark, instead of white.
-SCP-106 and SCP-49-2's primary attacks need to be reworked as it is too hard to hit people with it. When playing 106 it can sometimes take around 25-40 clicks just to teleport 1 person, because it is so difficult.
-SCP-049 needs to be reworked as it is currently too OP for him to only have to click on someone to instakill them, maybe he could have to target a specific person for around 3-4 seconds before they die, as this would stop him from running into a group of MTF/Chaos and insta killing all of them
-Optimization needs to be a thing, as the current graphics settings are very limited and since the doors update, certain areas run a lot worse, for instance for me the surface and light containment runs at full 60fps while entrance zone runs at around 45fps and heavy containment 30fps
-More viewmodel animations could be used such as equip animations (Pulling access cards out of pocket instead of them just appearing, or guns bobbing from side to side when running, etc)
-It should be harder to disarm the nuke once it has been set off, maybe
